What. The. Hell.
Gina the bitch Valdes is here! Since when?
"Gia!" Brittni squeals and gives the enemy a hug.
"Hey, just wanted to stop by. Heard Jackson got transferred and that you were moving," she pouts. Ugly ass bitch.
"Come in, come in," Brittni gestures and Gia walks past her with a cute smile and then notices me.
"Nikki? Is that you?" She asks, fake interest in her tone.
"Yeah, it's me." I smile so fake it makes me want to throw up.
"Wow. Haven't seen you since what? Freshmen year?" She laughs slightly.
"You could say that," I smile a closed lip smile.
Gia used to be Brittni and I's best friend in seventh to ninth grade. We did everything together, but there was always something about her that drove me crazy.
Even though we were all good friends, Brittni and I knew each other longer and that always made Gia a little jealous. She would try and steal Brittni away from me, buying her expensive gifts and telling her lies of things I supposedly said.
I hated her after that. The one thing that really crossed the line and made out friendship with her completely explode, was when she started a nasty rumor about how I was lesbian and forced her into kissing me. It ruined my freshmen year.
Brittni realized after that, something wasn't right and completely defriended Gia. Gia moved to another state which I now know was Ohio, and we never heard from her again.
The fact that Brittni is all buddy buddy with her again angers me after all the shit this girl has put me through.
"I'm really sorry about what happened by the way," she says and I would believe her if I didn't know her like I did. "I don't know what came over me, it was completely wrong to do that to you."
"Yeah, it was. Especially when I knew all along that you were trying to get rid of me," I sneer with a fake smile still plastered on my face. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go fetch my husband so we can leave."
I turn on my heel and walk towards the back door.
"Nikki!" Brittni catches up with me and stands in front of me. "Just hear me out."
"How could you? You know exactly what she did to me and yet your friends with her again?" My face heats with anger at the situation.
"She's changed. I know how she was in High School, but she's sweet now. Just give her a chance," she begs.
"The fact that you think I would give in to her sinister games is completely unlike you," I snap.
"I'm not asking you to give in, just, I don't know, come to dinner with us tonight. Colten and Jackson will be there too," she pleads.
"No," I blandly state.
I push past her and out the door where the men are talking.
"Nikki, listen to me," Brittni grabs my arm, but I rip away from her.
"Do you not remember what she did? She told the whole entire school that I was a lesbian trying to get with her! I know if someone did that to you they would become my enemy as well," I spit.
