"Jackson called and said their a half an hour away from their new house. We gotta get up," Colten's husky morning voice announces to me as I try and go back to sleep.
It's been a week since the whole Gia incident and is now the day my best friend and brother are moving back to Michigan. Nothing big has happened in that time. We've mostly been in and out of hospital and chilling at home.
"Five more minutes?" I groan, my voice muffled from the blankets I have over my face.
"We don't have five minutes," Colten informs me with amusement in his tone.
"We always have five minutes," I state.
"Now that's very much not true," he tells me.
I don't respond, I just shut my eyes and hope he goes away. I think I've succeeded until the covers are suddenly ripped away from my half naked body.
"Colten!" I scream and try to grab the warm blankets away from him.
"Oh yes, scream my name, baby," he moans mockingly.
"Seriously Colten?" I ask, anger seeping into my veins.
"Seriously Colten?" He mimics me in a high pitch girly voice while flipping his pretend hair over his shoulder.
I can't help, but burst out laughing at this. "Never do that again."
"Never do that again," he once again mocks, turning around dramatically and strutting away.
I grab the nearest pillow and chuck it at his back, but all he says is a girly 'ouch' before heading to the kitchen.
I've married a drama queen.
I quickly take a shower and put on some warm clothes since I'm going to be carrying in boxes from a truck all day, and head to the kitchen where I smell bacon.
"Cooking me some breakfast, big daddy?" I tease and he growls playfully.
"Call me daddy one more time and I'll bend you over my lap and spank your fit little ass," he threatens with a playful glint in his eye.
"Sorry, dad," I crack up laughing at the disgusted look on Colten's face.
"That's really gross actually," he nods and I put my hand against my stomach as it starts to hurt from laughing so much.
"That was good," I wipe away a tear.
"I'm glad you find my lack of appetite amusing," he rolls his eyes and slides a plate with waffles, eggs and bacon towards me.
"Me too. Thank you for making breakfast," I smile at him.
"You're welcome," he takes a seat next to me at the island, and stares at me as I shove my face with food.
Colten is such a good cook. If he wasn't so talented in football he could totally make a career from this.
"What?" I ask him.
"No 'I love you, Colten' and kiss on the lips?" He asks.
I roll my eyes and grab his cheeks, smooshing them between my hand, and plant my food filled mouth on to his. It's a chaste kiss, so it shouldn't be that gross.
"I love you," I try not to laugh at his once again repelled face.
"Again...that's really gross," he glares playfully at me.
I giggle and continue to eat my delicious meal.

"You sure this is the house?" I ask Colten as we pull up to Brittni and Jackson's supposed house.
