"I'm not nervous," Colten scoffs as I try to hug him.

"I didn't say you were," I smirk knowingly. "But it's okay if you are. I'm here."

"Nikki," he whines, but right when my lips are placed over his, all annoyance is thrown out the window.

I feel all his energy generate into the kiss, making me nervous and excited at the same time. Right when I start to worry about how far this is going to go, there's a knock on the door.

Colten groans. "Come in."

I try moving away from him, but he keeps his arm around my waist. In walks my husbands manager - also Chelsea's dad - Marvin Gale.

"How you feeling, son?" Marvin smiles brightly at Colten. Unlike his daughter, I've always quite liked Marvin. He's a very nice, older man that will do anything for Colten and that's exactly what we need.

"Pretty good," Colten shrugs. I know him better than that, though. He's actually freaking out in the inside. He doesn't like interviews.

"That's good to hear," Marvin grins, glancing down at his watch. "The team wants you out there in five minutes."

"Got it," Colt nods. His manager gives him a clap on the back, shaking my hand before walking out the door. "Do you think the crowd will be big?"

"You'll be fine," I fix his tie, smiling up at him. "You've done a million of these interviews."

"Except the fact that this is ESPN not some college network," Colten shakily responds.

"Hey," I direct his attention to my face. "I promise that I'll be right by your side the whole way."

I didn't expect to be getting interviewed as well as Colten. I thought it was all about him, but when Marvin had stopped by the room earlier, he had informed me of being in the interview. I was dolled up by trained professionals and the rest is history.

"Like that'll help," he teases making me lightly hit his shoulder.

"Shut up," I scowl playfully.

Five minutes have gone by when the stage manager bursts through the door, signaling us to follow.

I have to admit, I've not once been on a tv show or the news so this is all new to me and really cool. Backstage is so much more fascinating than the actual stage, in my opinion.

"Hello, I'm Karl as you may already know." This man is very handsome. He's older than both Colten and I, but even then his dark brown hair shows no signs of grey. He has tan skin and brown eyes. I can't say much about his body because it's covered by a suit. "So you two are going to be sitting over there and I'll be asking some questions. Nothing too personal so don't sweat it."

Colten laughs at this even though he was "sweating it".

"Never," Colten chuckles making Karl laugh. We're led to the love seat he was talking about and we sit down until we're ready to start.

"Never," I mock, rolling my eyes.

"Hey," he warns, squeezing my thigh. "No man ever shows weakness."

"Oh come on," I say in disgust making him shrug. I swear. Cussing him out is an option, but Karl is heading towards us before I can.

"We're on in one minute!" One of the stage directors yells at us.

Karl takes a seat at his chair diagonal of us and the director counts down. My hands begin to sweat and I have to wipe them on my pants. That's embarrassing.
