"I'm home!" I shout, placing my keys on to the hanger

"I'm home!" I shout, placing my keys on to the hanger.

"I heard," Colten rolls his eyes, pecking my lips, his hands becoming touchy.

"Colten," I whine. "I'm sweaty. I need a shower."

"That's never stopped me before," he smirks, but I push him away when he tries again. "Can I at least take one with you?"

"No," I shake my head, a playful smile on my lips. "You cannot because lord knows we'll never even get out."

"That's the point isn't it," he waggles his eyebrows at me.

"Not this time," I crinkle my nose. "I'm unusually sweaty today and I need to wash off. But I promise, if you still want to get down after we can."

That's if he doesn't completely freak out when I tell him about Adam. That should be fun.

"I didn't hear you get out," Colten comments as soon as I make my way out into the living room.

He's lounging on the couch with a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt, his eyes fixated on the tv, that's until he notices my appearance.

"What's the occasion?" He smirks, eyeing my t-shirt of his and bare legs. I roll my eyes.

"You act like I never wear this stuff," I scowl playfully at him, walking over to where he lays.

"So," he shrugs, gripping my hips and pulling me towards him. "Doesn't mean I don't love seeing you in it."

I smile slightly, my nerves spiking at what I'm about to tell him.

This can go one of two ways. Either Colten will take the news like a man or he'll storm off and find my ex-boyfriend, like I believe will happen.

"I need to talk you you," I try to smile, but Colten doesn't buy it. In a second, his legs are flung over the couch and he's pulling me in between them, looking up at me.

"What about?" He asks dangerously, his eyes already storming.

"Well," I laugh nervously. "I got a new client today."

He narrows his eyes, looking highly confused and irritated. "And?"

"And," I drawl out, planning how I'm going to say it. "AdamDonaldson-isthatnewclient."

"What?" He looks at me as if I'm crazy. I feel like I am.

"Adam Donaldson is my new client," I sigh, waiting for the explosion.
