Father always told me Earth was no fun. To which I say how would I know. To me, earth sounds like tons of fun. So many people to go after, but father- even though he's the dark lord himself- says no to the messing with the humans. Something dealing with having them screw up their lives first on their own before we lead them on another path, but I think its something else.
But humans are so fun to screw with. They are how do you say... docile. They fall for anything really. Like the whole landing on the moon and my favorite one of all... Tupac and Michael Jackson being dead. Where they're at is a mystery to me too. They're on the, let's see what happens if no one knows about their life, list. Of course I wanted to see the humans, after that one. I pushed father and asked everyday if I could see them.
It's not like I've never been on earth before, but it sure has been awhile. Actually a stupid long time. Sometimes I forget that I have been here. I mean I have scars to prove it, but that's my only proof of my time. My memory is not so good.
As a birthday gift, I finally got the old devil to crack. Im going to have some fun on earth. It had to be planned and done precisely, though. I want this time to be the best time possible. I said 9/11, but that wouldn't be no fun. 9/12 would still be too sad and the other days people are still numb. So September 22 will have to do.
Stepping inside the average teenager's hell on earth didn't seem so bad. Yeah the kids were loud and obnoxious, but it doesn't compare to the screams and cries I hear on a daily basis. Nothing was on fire or cursing at you or pleading for you to let them go.
I walked into first hour making sure I had a seat right in the back. I'll see all the kids arrive and leave. It's best to observe from a distance. The up close thing wasn't my favorite- unless we are back in hell, that is. And nor did I like someone being behind me.
The first few kids that came in were joking around with their friends sitting on the tops of their desk. They haven't noticed me yet, but they will in a minute. Oh boy will they in a minute.
The bell rang and everyone took their seats. The teacher had already set up her things and was calmly waiting for the class to quiet down.
She was an interesting woman. The name on the board didn't fit her in my opinion. Mrs. Grim. I laughed at the thought of Death and the woman. It was so terribly funny that I wanted to see the poor sap named Mr. Grim. Once everything started to quiet down I sobered up.
Quiet. I didn't know such thing existed. Chaos was my lullaby and I didn't know if I wanted to let it go now. But I won't be one to waste a perfectly good gift.
"Belle Knight?" I raised my hand and the teacher smiled at me. "Class this is our new student, from... From where again?"
Hell.
"Adamstown. Uh Pitcairn Islands."
She nodded like she knew exactly where that was. She didn't and that was fine by me. I'll let it go, but it'll only backfire on her in the future.
"That explains the accent."
Sure yeah let's go with that one.
Some of the kids stared back at me, some in awe and some in jealousy. Well except for one guy in the front who kept to his notebook. Looks like him and I are going to know each other well real soon. Nobody doesn't take note of my presence.
After class was finished the kid stayed back to talk to the teacher, so I did too. Once I stood next to him he kept fidgeting liking he was seconds from being attacked. Maybe he knew my kind of presence and knew that I could be dangerous. Or maybe he's shy around the lady parts.
