"When you say fading, you mean it pulled out a Marley right and is having a good time right now," Hades said easing back in.

"Alastor did something to me and somehow managed to remove it and put it in my locket. But I can't get it out and I can't have that fall into the wrong hands."

Everyone kind of looked stomped for a second. "Hey where's Aniel," Raelyn asked.

"At Tyla and friends party."

I was annoyed that he decided to go, but like I've said before he can do whatever he wants at the proper distance. Plus I have a feeling this party could go one or two wa-

Somebody started banging on the door. Not sure who it could be. Hades went to answer it. We waited for him to say who it was but all he did was shrug. He opened it and only stuck his head out.

"We don't want any Girl Scout cookies."

He went to close it but a foot stopped it. It was Naomi and Aniel, but um Aniel was not right. I'm not sure if everyone else noticed that, but I surely did. I know that look anywhere and that is a definite high look.

"Yeah I know it's messed up, but it's whatever now," she told him.

He looked up at her looking hurt in the eyes. "It's not whatever now."

"Excuse you miss Rudey Huxtable, we were in the middle of something. Either give up the goods or get out," Hades yelled.

Naomi sighed and looked over to him. "Tyla said something to Aniel and it kind of sent him on edge and I believe something is wrong with him."

I nodded. It was something way wrong with him. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but it's something there that shouldn't be. It was blocking his emotions from me and it's making him very confused. Like the kid keeps walking around and then forgetting why he was there.

The others looked at me, like I was supposed to handle it but I'm not exactly sure what to do. Of course I know he's on something and it looks familiar, but there's thousands of things that looked familiar. Seriously.

I huffed and rolled my eyes a bit. "I'll see what I can do," I said taking him.

He sat on the bed and stared up at me. I looked at him trying to place what exactly is wrong with him, but it's kind of hard to do. I don't have access to that info right now. That was another thing that was fading out of me. It's like I know it, but it's just so hard to remember right now.

"What did Tyla say to you?"

"She said she was going to kill me, to watch you suffer."

"Why, would she say that?"

"Because I told her I wouldn't need her again and that I could make it on my own now. To which she replied I'm like the spawn and that once you get tired of me you'll say the same."

What?

That last little bit was bullshit. Complete and utter nonsense. That part I know for sure. Things may be fading, but I can still spot lies from a mile away. Aniel knows I'm not doing anything to him. Yeah I may have tried to kill him, but I was in a rough place, it happens. Still Aniel, wouldn't get hung up on that, maybe the Tyla killing him part, but I'm positive he knows I would handle that. Sooo....

I reached for his hand and lightly tangled our fingers together, something that he wouldn't let happen. I ever so subtly moved closer leaning in.

"You have nothing to worry about now," I told whatever this is letting my breath fan his neck, sending shivers over him.
