I paced the apartment while Amia and Naomi recovered. Or slept. I couldn't have them watch me freaking out. What I didn't tell you about a bond is that life forces are tangled together. Which mean if he dies I could possibly die as well or go on living like something is missing from me.
It's just how could they just up and take him? They can't just do that. All because I don't want to be apart of taking over limbo and ending everything. What part of not going to happen any time soon don't they understand?
"Belle," Death said returning.
I was too trapped in my thoughts to say anything. My mind was racing with a million scenarios. Scenarios of what I'll do to them, because I'm sick and tired of these games. They've come after me, my family and my person and I'm done. Enough is enough.
"Belle," Hades said holding me still. I stared at him and he flew back. "Holy sh-"
"Let's relax and talk for a second. What happened?"
I looked at Death and he shied away. Fine maybe I should relax for a second. They don't deserve my anger.
"Tavis came here. He distracted me and I'm so stupid. I should've known. I'm so stupid."
I shook my head and started pacing again. Hades looked like he was going to say something, but Death told him not to. I just can't believe I didn't notice them. I should've known the minute he showed up at the door.
"You're not stupid, Belle. It-"
"Don't you dare finish that. Don't give me that bullshit! It doesn't just happen. I should've known and-..... They're starting." My heart fell. "They're going to use him to finish this."
"They can't."
"They can. He can already use the locket before and we're bonded-"
"Pause-"
"Shut up, Hades we don't have time for that." I took a deep breath trying to calm down. I gave Hades a gentle smile to show I did and didn't mean that. "Aniel and I are bonded so therefore I have his pureness and I believe he has some of my bad. They can do whatever they want with him, that's why we have to go."
Death shook his head like this was all crazy talk. "We can't just go. We have to come up with a well devised plan-"
"Look, I've been around the kid for far too long to know that plans don't and won't work. That's why we have to ruin their's before they can come up with a new one."
"Then can we at least wait for or go get Raelyn?"
I huffed and sat down thinking about it. "Fine."
We went to Raelyn's and boy was it awkward. Let's just say she was in the middle of something. Not anything bad, no no, just killing wise. She was in the midst of killing one of those fallen people who I didn't take the time out to know. He was holding onto dear life and she was enjoying herself. She can't really kill them, but man was she close.
"Hey guys," she said without missing a beat. "I know about Aniel and in other news they decided to bring limbo here so looks like we've come to the right place."
She held the fallen down while it tried crawling away. He looked up at me with pleading eyes and I quickly adverted mine.
"What is here exactly?"
"Inbetween," she said snapping and pulling off the fallens arm. "We're between heaven and hell and limbo. It's almost like the passing between heaven and earth but more stronger and dangerous."
I nodded and glanced at the fallen squirm around trying to reach its arm, but Raelyn was just having too much fun. Hades ended her fun though by moving her away. It tried leaving, but realized it didn't have enough energy to make that exit.
