****************************************************************************************Why the fuck was she here? Now she got me fucking up on my words. I can't think straight. My head's doing backflips free falling from the sky. I feel like I'm about to puke. This wasn't good whatsoever.
Aniel looked at me, but I was frozen in place just staring at the woman. My breath grew ragged and I thought I would've had a panic attack right then and there.
I felt so small again. I felt like I was facing the worst of the worst again. There was no place to escape and there was nothing I could say. And I had tons to say to her. Her face haunts me every time I close my eyes and she's the source to my anger. The anger that never seems to die. It seems pretty obvious who she is, but if you need help or a clearer picture... The woman- that beast, was indeed my mother.
Alastor finally came home and I was so happy to see him. I had been hiding away in the corner of my room, hoping mama wouldn't see me. The teacher wrote a note and stapled it to my shirt. Since I can't read to save the life of me I didn't know if it was a good note or a bad note. The last time I took the note off, it ripped my shirt and boy was mama mad. This time I wouldn't rip it off, but Al will read it to me. He has to."Cow Bells," he yelled from downstairs.
If I dashed down and make this quick I might have enough time to hide again before mama comes home. I sat there thinking some more. Run or stay. My nerves got to me so I ran.
I jumped onto him in a big hug and he spun me around, earning little giggles to escape my mouth. He frowned and looked at my shirt.
"What did you do this time," he said looking a little upset.
I backed away, shrinking down a bit. Alastor doesn't usually get upset with me so I didn't know what to do. He noticed me shying away and fixed his expression to worried.
"Belle, what happened at school?"
"The girlth pull my hair. Th- th- they trieth to cutth it off," I struggled to get out.
Even though it took me a little while to finally get things out, Al never rushed me or anything. He always waited and helped me through it. Mama never does that. She'll tell me to say whatever I'm thinking and then get mad when it wasn't clear for her.
Al nodded and pushed some of my tangled hair out of my face. "Okay. Let's see what this says," he said carefully pulling the paper apart. He looked at it and let out a long breath. "Mom's not going to like this.... Belle, when someone is bothering you, tell the teacher about it."
"They don'tth li-li-li-lithen."
"Then you make them listen. I don't want mom to get mad at you."
The front door creaked opened and my heart dropped there's no way to get around her now, she'll notice me run up. Oh man and I'm still hurting from the last punishment.
She made me carry heavy rocks in my book bag for four hours straight. She wanted me to feel the burden that she feels, because I stress her out. I'm only 5, I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
