"Beelzebub slow down!"

I laughed and kept going, ducking through tables and chairs then hid behind a corner. I was laughing so hard I thought maybe he would hear me.

"Okay seriously come out, you're going to get us in trouble." I stayed in my place. "Beel," He whined quietly.

When he got close I jumped out and he fell back from my force. Cable stared up at me with his freaky black eyes. I can never get over the fact of them, but I guess we even out with mine.

He says they remind him of snakes skin. I guess maybe that's why not too many people stare at them, because they're afraid of snakes. I actually like snakes, they're not that bad actually. But maybe it's because of my dad who knows.

"Ha I scared you," I told him and did my happy dance.

He shoved me back making me bump into someone. "Cable what did I tell you." It was his mother.

"To stop running around," he said softly.

She moved past me to grab his collar and all I could think was he's in deep trouble. "So you remember, but didn't care?"

"It was my fault really Cables mom. He said stop, but I didn't think we'd get in trouble."

Cable's mom is a scary woman, not like my mom scary, but a close second. She's one of those demons that looks human so when she goes on Earth nobody will have suspicions. The only thing that makes her not human is her eyes, they're like Cable's but he said in sunlight they reflect as brown. Other than that she's just a dark haired, tan, tall and slightly curvy lady. The same lady who just yanked me by my arm and is now dragging me and Cable down the hall. And she is about to cut off circulation.

"Mother please, I'm sorry and she didn't mean to. I promise," he begged.

The short time I've been here in hell I've never heard him beg. He said that shows everyone your weak and you don't want them to see your weakness. I guess his weakness was her.

But she dragged us all through the halls and into his father's office. My father was in there too and I'm not exactly sure what they were doing. They looked kind of cuddled together on the couch watching something, but when we came in they pushed away after we saw them and cut the tv off.

"What do you want, Genevieve," Lucifer said staring up at her then me. "And release her."

She pushed me to the ground roughly and he stood up abruptly. "I'm fine, I'm fine," I told him.

"You need to control her. They keep running up and down these halls and you know we have a problem."

He walked over putting me behind him. "You don't tell me how to raise my kid. Belle is free to do whatever she pleases, so don't you dare come in here telling me what I need to do."

She walked up to him and Cable's dad pulled her back. My guess is they don't really like each other. And for some reason she doesn't like me much either. She yells at Cable whenever she catches us together and then hits him for it to which he then hits me and we get in a fight and we both get in trouble. Not in trouble because we fight, but because we damage things and friends aren't supposed to fight.

"Keep your child away from mine," she said lowly.

She was the only demon lady I've ever seen step up to Lucifer like that. That's a lot of courage.

"Let's go Belle."

I followed Lucifer out and flinched at the sound of Cable being hit. It stopped me, but Lucifer kept me going until we were back in our area and I was inside my room. I didn't realize how much I was shaking until he placed his hands on my shoulders and even then I flinched at his touch.
