"So can I leave now?"

I nodded, staring up at him. "I'll be over there later maybe. I need to talk to Death about something... Don't tell him about this."

At this point in time I didn't want him to freak out. Cable and Death don't particularly like each other's existence. I believe Death almost killed him, but I forgot why. It might be because Cable and I were fighting, but who knows.

Aniel was a foot out the door but kind of hung there. "Does this mean Cable is here and staying?"

"It means you should go home and not think about what's going to happen next." He wanted to say more. "Aniel, I really need you to go."

"But you brought me here."

I sent him away and sat on my couch banging my head against the wall. I was so pissed I couldn't even be pissed. It's like it was building up. Like everything was slowing down and I was drowning in place. Things weren't getting any better, but that's okay I'm better at working through pressure and dry anger. I just need to think.

Let's replay the situation. Cable is here. That's going to be placed at the top of our list. He's here and that means he had to make a deal with someone to get on Earth, whether it be he escaped or not.

Two. He needs me. If I'm not there to somehow finish the shitstorm he started it'll only spiral out of something he can't control and will probably result into the end times. Which is what he wants, but he wants to be the leader of it. Too bad for him that spot is reserved for a certain person who probably isn't born yet.

Three. He framed me and created the distraction. Smart... But highly stupid. Smart because he won't get in trouble for it because I did it and I won't get in trouble because I won't remember. Highly stupid because he told me it was the first step. Which means he manipulated me and probably have been the times before and after that.... Also I'm really good at mimicking. Tell me you did one thing and I can repeat the action.

Last thing. My locket.... I have no thoughts for this only questions and a concern.

"Father, why did you give me this locket on my birthday?"

Seconds ticked by and I almost gave up on the answer.

"You needed it. You were shattered and there was no returning from that. If I had not given you the locket, you wouldn't have made it this far."

"And Aniel, The Aniel? That would have been nice information to know."

"If you would have known would you have stayed away from this boy?"

What?

"I don't k-"

"You would have kept your distance. Some people are born to know each other and some are born to know the names of them. You two needed to meet. You were not suppose to lead him off his path, but what's done is done. I believe you know what to do."

I knew, but I can't. I don't know how and that could get a lot of people hurt. And I'm not sure if you've noticed but Belle does not want to get punished for that.

"I can't," I whispered.

"You will, it's too late for you to refuse it."

"But I don't know how, besides I'm not ready for that."

This is too much. Can I at least be legal first. My birthday has not come yet. Maybe after that, but not now. Then again it might... No. No. I won't even think about it.

"Nobody is ever ready... Handle it."

He drifted away and I needed another plan. This time I have all the factors out in the open. There is nothing new that can be thrown at me. So now to put on my thinking bra.
