I wake up the next morning to find the bed empty, I must've fallen asleep and Aaron let me stay there. I get up ever so slowly so I don't fall off the bed. I slide off, stand up, and stretch. I noticed there was something on a little so called table in the corner of my eye. I turn my head towards it, it was a plate of food. Where are they getting all this nice stuff? I mean clothes, plates, bowls, silverware, and cooking tools, they all look like they were taken from a store. I shake my head, it didn't matter, I'm starving the food looked really good, bacon, eggs, and in a separate bowl was some of that stew from last night. I didn't know how hungry I was untill I ate it all. Where did they get the eggs? Probably from some wild fowl, a type of bird if you didn't know. It was delicious in any case, I should go take my dishes to the kitchen. I turned around and saw Scott. I jumped nearly dropping the dishes.
"Oh jeez I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you. I just came to give this to you." He took a small step back holding a suitcase for me to take. "Here I'll take the plates and I'll give you this."
We switched both things, I looked in the suitcase, putting it on the bed. It held clothing my size, socks, shoes, every piece of clothing, and toiletries I needed for hygiene. It was really generous for Scott to do this for me.
"Thank you, you didn't have to do this." I spoke in a grateful tone. Scott laughed happily.
"Well that's good, because I didn't." He smiled, I looked at him, confused. "Peter got this for you." My eyes widened, my eyebrows raised.
"How'd he get this stuff?" I asked holding a green shirt. Scott shrugged looking outside.
"I dunno, he has his ways." He turned to me and gave me a friendly wink and a smirk. I stood in silence, staring at him awkwardly. I wanted him to get out so I could change I hated wearing these clothes. He cleared his throat and stepped back. "Well I have to go, I'll see ya around."
He turned and left, closing the opening of the tent behind him. I got dressed and brushed my hair, and took out a water bottle for me to use to brush my teeth. I walked outside, the fresh scent of pine and wood filled my lungs. I've always loved to go camping, I'll pretend to be camping, just with other people I hardly know.
After walking around by myself I see someone limping to the infirmary tent. I was about to rush over to help but once I saw who it was I froze. Joseph. That guy gives me the creeps. Whatever happened yesterday, gave me trauma. Something about Joseph was off.
His knee was bleeding, pretty badly too. I follow him to get info on what happened, I was curious. He hobbled into the tent, I heard Andrew screech "Joseph! Good heaven sakes what did you do this time!? Give me your leg let me take a look."
I got closer to the tent, I heard the conversation clearly. Joseph hissed, probably from Andrew touching his hurt knee.
"Ow don't be so rough! I was gathering wood and a piece of wood fell back and hit my knee. It hurts like a mother--" Joseph was interrupted by Andrew shushing him.
"Would you watch your mouth, you're speaking very loudly, it's inappropriate." Andrew scolded as I was guessing cleaning Joseph's knee.
"Heh, why? It seems to me everyone acts like a man. Oops I guess not everyone." I heard him smirk, I know he was, he was talking about me.
"Don't be talking badly about Ali, she has done nothing to you. Well probably besides being afraid of you." Andrew spoke with an amusing yet serious tone.
"Pshh why would she be afraid of me? Look at me, I'm lovable." Joseph laughed happily.
"Oh sorry, I didn't hear you right, did you say lovable? I thought you meant creepy." Andrew spoke with sarcasm, I tried to keep my laugher in. I held my hands to my mouth and nose.
"Jeez don't be such a stick in the mud." Joseph said blankly. "She shouldn't be afraid of me I did nothing wrong. Ow!!"
I heard Andrew tighten a cloth around Joseph's leg.
"Joseph I saw you yesterday pestering that poor girl! She looked absolutely frightened, up until Peter came and pushed you off." Andrew's voice was intimidating, but he was standing up for me.
"I was just playing-" Joseph started. I heard Andrew stand up.
"Joseph I'm done with your treatment, please go now. Try not to hurt yourself." He walked away, Joseph stood and started to walk out.
I was hiding behind the tent, Joseph hopefully won't see me. He walked out with an angered look.
"She doesn't belong here anyway." I heard him say it under his breath.
I didn't stand until I was sure he was gone. I went into the tent. Andrew was turned around organizing his medicines and stuff.
"Andrew?" I silently call out. He turns to me, and smiled warmly.
"Alison. How are you today? I heard Aaron had another one of his fits again, is he okay?" He seemed really concerned.
"Yea he's fine, he fell asleep right when Peter came rushing in. Has that happened before?" I questioned. I noticed his helper, John wasn't in here. "Also where's John?"
"Yes Aaron has had a couple of those fits before. Peter slept near his bed the first few weeks Aaron was here, oh and John is helping in the kitchen." Andrew answered continuing what he was doing. I wanted to ask about Joseph, my curiosity was killing me. I just decided to stay quiet. I say goodbye to Andrew and left, I just walk around the camp meeting the boys I haven't met yet, Levi, Nate and Joshua.
Levi and Nate work together watching and taking care of the animals. Joshua was a carpenter, playing with wood, from making cute little wooden nicnacs to a whole tent frame. After talking with them I just walk around camp, getting myself familiar with this place.

Peter's POV

Aaron seems happy, he's been doing better at hunting today. His sister being here has really helped his mood. But why would the umbra pick her out of anyone else? Well at least we know that he's here on the island.
Aaron and I walk back to camp carrying a pig we hunted. As we got to camp, the first person I saw was Allison, just walking around, I saw she was wearing the clothes I had gotten for her. I turn my head looking forward. Aaron looked as if he was going to drop the dead animal and run to Ali.
"We'll drop this off at Matt's tent, then you can have the rest of the day off. " I told Aaron, he just nodded and headed forward. We dropped off the pig and Aaron stood and looked up at me. His forehead came up to my chest, I stopped and looked back at him.
"Do you like Ali?" He asked bluntly, I raised my eyebrow.
"No, why do you say that?" I walked around him, he grinned and walked beside me.
"You were staring at her once you got to camp." Aaron spoke keeping pace as I walked at a faster pace. Honestly I have no idea where I'm walking to, just walking forward.
"She was the first person I saw. It does not mean I like her." Aaron frowns. I looked at him "What?"
"You don't like her, even as a friend?" He looks to the ground, making me feel guilty.
"She is your sister and stays in this camp, I suppose I like her as a friend." I said to make him feel better, patting his head. Even though I want nothing to do with her. He smiles and nods and looks forward. In the corner of my eye I see Ali walking towards me. As she gets to us, Aaron stands beside her.
"Hey Peter, thanks for getting that stuff for me. I appreciate it." I want to ignore her, but for Aaron's sake I turn to her. "You're welcome." That's all I would say. I didn't want to make conversation. I kept walking until I got to the kitchen. I didn't want to get close to Ali, for a good reason. But I didn't want to be rude either. I can't afford to get close to someone like her.
