"What?" Scotts eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you sure it was the shadow?"
"What do you mean the umbra looked liked me 'slightly'." Peter questioned with eyebrows raised. I back away slowly, I felt as thought the room around me was spinning. They rushed me with questions.
"I-I don't know." I answered, I sat down on the bed holding my head. Then looking up at them."It was just a dream, just some nightmare..... Right?"
"Peter what if her nightmare is a warning?" Scott nervously looked towards Peter. Peter only looks at both of us and quietly ponders. Scott looks and walks towards me slowly, I was lost in thought.
I was scared, what could happen to everyone? It would be all my fault.
"I have an idea." Peter announced quietly kicking me out of my thoughts, he strode to us with a blank stare.
"What's your idea?" Scott asked impatiently. I glanced up at both boys.
"I'm not saying your nightmare is a warning, maybe you're just paranoid." Peter looks down a me, I give him the stink eye, I'm not paranoid. . . Maybe a little, but not enough to have nightmares. "But we can treat it as though it's a threat. Okay? Does that make you feel better?" He asked with sass in his tone. I nod with a glare.
"My idea is that we start a buddy system, whenever we go in the woods for everyone. We need to have someone with Ali at all times." Peter suggested. I stood up quickly to object, light headed, almost fainting. I sat back down again.
"That may work, but I need some privacy. And maybe a way to protect myself." I spoke holding my head with my hand, both the boys attention turned to me.
"You asked for defense lessons earlier." Scott nodded and grinned. Peter crossed his arms and shook his head. They ignored my privacy request.
"That won't work against the umbra. He'll snap her body in half like a twig in seconds." Peter said, I was taken aback in horror. Scott rested a hand on my shoulder.
"It's worth a try, we never know if Hook and his crew might ambush us." Scott explained. Peter took a step forward still shaking his head.
"That will never happen." Peter spoke with a crooked smile, shaking his hands. I sat up straight, I frowned at the two guys.
"What if I want to do it. What if I would feel better if I can protect myself if something goes wrong?" I yelled, the two look at me and I shut my mouth. Peter straightened his back and crossed his arms across his chest, Scott stares at Peter with a smirk.
"Fine." Peter growled pointing at Scott, "FINE, you know what? Okay. You're in charge of teaching her."
Scott brightly smiles, "I'll try my best to teach her."
"You have two weeks to teach her." Peter added, before adding one more thing. "And she needs a body guard at all times from now on."
Scott stands and holds his arm in the air, "I'll do it. I'm teaching her defense anyway."
"I'll do it." Peter, looks at him with a frown. Scott sits down in defeat.
"Why can't Scott just do it? He's teaching me anyway." I speak out, Peter turns to me with a frown and a glare.
"What if something happens in the middle of the night, his tent is all the way across camp. My tent is closer to yours." He explains, it makes sense I guess.
"Why do you have to watch me 24/7? I mean yea you made a good point but he can still watch me during the day, and you can watch me at night." I stood up slowly making my point. Both boys stare at me in surprise. "What?"
They stay silent, looking as if they were pondering. They look at each other and nod.
"Deal." They both say.

Peter's POV

A week, one week to give her to the umbra. The boys will hate me, but they will realize I did it for them. They'll thank me for saving them. What about Ali? She's just a pawn of the umbra's little game, I just know it. After the two leave my tent I pace around the room, lost in thought.
"Peter?" A voice called. I turn around and look at a figure standing in my tent doorway.
"Yea? Is everything okay?" I ask, I stand up straight. Keeping my conscious clear, I stare at him with a calm face.
"Are you alright?" He asked quietly, stepping into my tent.
"I'm just fine. No need to worry." I give the best smile I could. Aaron laughs quietly.
"You're a terrible liar."
I sit on the bed and rub my head with my hand.
"I'm that obvious?" I ask.
"Oh yea." Aaron laughs sitting next to me. "What's bothering you?"
"It's nothing you need to worry about." I smile at him. I mess up his hair with my hand and he gives me a playful glare.
"Alright, if you need to talk let me know." He walks off out of my tent with a smile. I lay down on my bed, and I surprisingly fall asleep.
I wake in the middle of an opening, I recognize this place. I hear muffled screams in the distance as I walked towards the old tree. I run towards where the muffled screams came from, but I heard it from all around me. I turn but the sound moved to another direction. I was going insane, until the screams stopped and a whisper of a familiar voice echoed in my head. "One week Peter."
I jolted up from my bed, it was still day time. I get up and rush out of my tent.
I walk around camp trying to find Scott and Ali, after that dream I'm more convinced that Ali's nightmare is more of a warning than an actual nightmare.
I walk through the whole camp but I can't seem to find them. I noticed Levi sitting with the animals, I asked him if he's seen Allison or Scott.
"I saw them walking to the waterfall." He told me, I thank him.
I walk to the waterfall and see Aaron standing with his back towards the falls. I walk over to him about to ask what he was doing until my eyes caught onto Ali in the falls bathing in a swim suit.
I couldn't stop myself from staring at her, her skin shined in the sunlight and her wet hair slicked back. The ends of her hair rested at her lower back. Her swim suit fit perfectly on her small fragile body.
I looked at Aaron who was staring at me with a smug expression. I raise my eyebrow at this.
"Where's Scott?" I asked looking away from Ali, Aaron shrugged as I heard Ali's voice echo.
"He went to take a quick walk and asked Aaron to watch me till he got back." She said as she ringed her hair walking over to us. Her hips swung from side to side as she walked through the knee height water.
"What the hell? Why would he leave now? Did he go into the woods or towards camp?" I exclaimed in frustration. It hasn't been even one day! I watched Ali dry her body with a towel with no reaction to my outburst.
"I'd rather have Aaron watch me than anyone else while I bathe." She said walking past me towards camp. She then turned and said, "Scott went towards camp, he seemed to be in a hurry."
I sigh in frustration. "I'm starting to regret letting Scott watch you."
Ali and Aaron look at me with shock. "Why?" They both say.
"Is Scott here right now??" I question. They shake their heads, I point at them, "exactly."
Suddenly Scott came out of no where, he was out of breath as if he was running a marathon. I cross my arms across my chest, he smiles sheepishly at me.
"Hey..." Scott laughs nervously.
"Scott, what were you doing?" Ali leaves to go into her tent, Aaron leaves to go do something else.
"I went for a quick walk, I didn't take that long. I didn't want to bother Ali to hurry and bathe so we could take a walk so I had Aaron watch her for a bit."
"Scott. If you leave her like this again I'll take your place." I warn. I walk off in frustration. My mind fills with images of Ali while she bathed. I shake my head violently and walk off. I'll tell them about my dream later. But for right now I need to chill out and let it go.
(pun intended.)
