Ali's POV

I woke up with a headache and groggy. I sat up and looked around my room thoroughly.
Last night was the first and worst nightmare I've had here. Was it even a nightmare? Or is it a warning? I really hope not, I felt my eyes sting, but I held it back, no more tears. Be strong, nothing bad will happen. I finally get up and get ready for the day.
I felt so down, I didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment. I just wanted to eat and maybe make a small fire to sit by. I breathe out a small sigh as the warm morning sun shines on my back. I pull my hair up into a ponytail to get it out of my face. I hurry and get my breakfast and head over to the small fire that someone already started. Luckily no one was there so I ate my breakfast in peace.
Once I was finished I went to put my plate and silverware away when I felt arms wrap around me, scaring me out of my skin. I jumped and let out a loud yelp, nearly dropping my plate. The arms let me go with a hardy laugh, I turn to face them, with a glare.
"Oh my god Ali." Scott laughed, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you that much."
He was laugh holding his abdomen, I roll my eyes and smirk turning back towards the kitchen. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Hey Ali are you okay? You seem to be bothered by something."
I walk on, staying quiet until I turn in the plates and silverware I turn to Scott.
"I had a rough night, I'm not really in the mood to talk." I told him, I look at his eyes, the green color match the color on the trees. The smile in them disappear, so does the one on his lips.
"Is it about your nightmare?" He spoke gently, stepping closer to me. I look at the ground, guilty. He tries to give a smile but it was weak. "Do you want to talk about it?"
I shook my head quietly, looking away. I saw him smile at me, he takes my hand in his.
"Do you want to take a walk with me?" He asked, swinging my arms playfully. I give him a small smile, and nod.
"Where are we walking to?" I asked as he dragged me behind him. Scott looked over his shoulder and gave me a big grin, with his dimples showing.
"You'll see." He said, he let go of my hand and we walked along a trail behind camp. We walk for what seems like a half an hour without talking between us, until Scott finally stopped and turned to me with a grin.
"We're here." He said excitedly, pulling back a curtain of bushes from my view. My eyes and mouth opened in awe of the sight I'm seeing.
What I saw was a large tree with a large hole gaping out near the bottom of the trunk.
"Wow." Was all I could say. "Is This-"
"The hangman's tree." Scott finished.
If any of you don't know what the hangman's tree is, it's the tree that Peter Pan and the lost boys lived in. Or I guess it was the entrance to their living space.

"This is where we lived, before hook left Neverland, after hook and his pirates left we moved to the campsite we are in now

"This is where we lived, before hook left Neverland, after hook and his pirates left we moved to the campsite we are in now." Scott explained. I watched him walk through the bushes and towards the tree.
I remember that in the stories and film Peter Pan and the lost boys are kids, why aren't these lost boys kids?
"Hey Scott?" I speak, walking behind him towards the tree. He hums in reply. "How old were you when you came to Neverland?"
He stops in his tracks and turns to me, he looks at me with a puzzled look. "What do you mean?"
"So how old were you when you came here?" He ponders for a minute, biting his bottom lip and staring at the ground. We sit down on a large root.
"I think I was 10? It was quite along time ago." He finally says through the silence. I look at him in surprise, he looks nothing like a 10 year old. He sees my disbelief and smirks, resting his right arm on his knee, twisting his body to look at me. "I know I don't look 10, we don't stop growing until we're 18. I know it sounds weird but it's true, you can look at everyone in camp, they all look around the same age. We don't have reason why time does that here. Aging does stop but not right away."
I look at him in amazement, I was going to ask him another question but I'm too shy to say it so I keep quiet.
"Can we go inside?" I asked, pointing to the tree. He crouched down and tried to fit in the hole looking to be meant for smaller people, he smiles.
"Oh no we can't go inside, it's too small!" He teases in a sarcastic tone. We laugh at his dorky antics. He stands up, and walks to a hidden button I would never have seen. "Yea this is the original way in."
The hole he had just tried to crawl into had gotten bigger, on the inside was a staircase going down into darkness.
"It's a bit dark Scott.." I eye him as He laughs and walks in and suddenly the walls started to light up, like lightning bugs within the walls. I watch Scott with a big grin, staring all around him, glancing at me once in a while.
"There's still pixie dust left in the walls." He said with relief, laying a hand on the wall. We finally hit the last step and the lights, light up right as we walk in.
"Pixie dust?" I asked him, "pixies... Are here on Neverland?"
"Yea." He shrugged, wasn't tinkerbell a pixie? Is she an actual pixie here, because I have not seen her the whole time I've been here.
"Was there a pixie named tinkerbell?" He froze, leaving his face blank.
"How do you know about her?" He questioned, I could hear irritation in his voice. "How did you know about tinkerbell?" He yelled, walking to me, I walked backwards into a wall.
"I've heard about her from stories." I stammered. His face softened, looking guilty.
"I'm sorry, it's just that we lost her a while ago. We don't know where she went. Once hook left, tinker disappeared and we couldn't find her." He looked at the ground, I walk up to him to comfort him but nearly get tackled by Scott's hug.
"I'm glad you're here, don't let anything get you down; you belong here ok? I don't want you to leave." He whispered into my ear. I hug him closer as a big smile appears on my face. He pulls back to look at me, silence fills the room. My smile slowly disappears.
Scott looks down into my eyes with his mesmerizing green ones. He slowly takes his hand to a strand of hair in my face and pushes it behind my ear. I smile up at him, he gives me his cute smile showing his dimples. As his right hand rest on my cheek his other hand wraps behind my back pulling me closer to him. His right hand makes its way to the back of my head lightly pushing me closer to him, he slowly lowers his head closer to mine. Is he going to kiss me?! My heart thumps loudly you could probably hear it through the silence.
Just before our lips were about to touch I see a figure sitting in a chair behind us. It startles me and I let out a loud quick cry. Scott quickly turns, keeping me behind him. As we see who it is I let out a breath of relief, Scott stayed uptight, blocking me from him.
"Peter what are you doing here?" Scott impatiently asked. Peter smiled with amusement.
"Well I was going to see when you would notice me, but you finally did." Peter's smile disappears once his eyes lay on me, then back at Scott.
"I was just showing her the hideout." Scott explained.
"Sure." Peter rests his cheek on his hand as his elbow rests on the armrest of the chair. He smirks and stands up walking towards the entrance. He points to both of us with his smirk, "I'll leave you two alone."
Once he left the room, it was filled with an awkward silence. Scott was going to kiss me... Scott was going to kiss me! Do I like him that way? It could be possible, I didn't back away or tell him to stop.
I start to walk around the place, erasing the awkward silence, I saw big table with several chairs around it, in the room next to it with several cots lined up on the wall. In another open area where we saw Peter was a throne looking chair and several other comfy chairs next to a fire place. The next room had a red cloth for a door, I walked slowly towards it, I pushed it aside making my way inside the room. It was a large bedroom, with a large bed in the middle of the room, and a small coffee table and a pillow on one side and a wardrobe on the other.
"This was Peter's room. He didn't use it much because he slept in the other room, we had made this room for him but he said it wasn't fair. So we used this for guests or whatever." Scott stood behind me, his face was blank and stared into the room. By guests I think he meant Wendy or her brothers. I turn around and face him, I gather up the courage to ask.
"Is there such a thing as a transparent man? I'm guessing it's some sort of shadow." I ask staring up at Scott, his eyes go wide.
"What do you mean? Would you mean a shadow with glowing eyes?" He replies, he knows about the shadow.
"Y-yes, what do you know about it?" I asked with a shaky voice.
"He's Peter's shadow." He said crossing his arm across his chest while the other covers his mouth, he looks over at the wall. I stare at him in surprise, my mouth opened slightly.
He's Peter's shadow.
