Allison's POV

"What are you talking about?" He said lowly.
"There was this voice that told me Scott was in danger. Then there were shadows projected on the walls of my tent, there was laughter and I woke up when they were about to enter my tent. I feel like something bad happened to Scott." I explained, he stood still, pondering.
"There's nothing we can do about it now. I know Scott can handle himself." Peter hesitated, I know he's worried. I can see it in his eyes, his jaw tightened.
"What if he was taken by the pirates? He can't survive one against all of them." I say in a loud tone, his head turned to look at me.
"What can we do about it? You're strictly to stay in bed and heal, and I'm supposed to take it easy. How are we supposed to get Scott back with 7 against two dozen pirates?" He barked angrily, he was taken aback by his own attitude. He calmly sighs and softly says, "I'm sorry, I just don't think we can get Scott at the moment."
I look at my hands, I worry for his safety, if he got hurt I'd feel responsible somehow.
"He's going to be okay." Peter crouched down to be at my eye level, he smiles softly. I nod. "You should get some sleep."
He stands to leave to room, I felt scared to be alone. I know Andrew is in the next room, but I didn't want to alone in this room.
"Peter, wait." I called, I watch him turn to me. I play with my fingers nervously. "Can you stay here? I just don't want to be alone right now."
He pauses and looks behind, he looks back at me and quietly nods. He sits carefully on the ground, his back resting on the edge of my cot.
"Peter. You can lay on the cot if you want." I say shyly, I realize what I said and blush profusely. I stumble with my words as he looks up at me with a smirk. "I mean that it's much more comfortable than the ground."
He lets out a small laugh and slowly stands up, grunting. He's still in pain, he's okay now, right? There was only one cot in the room, the one I'm staying on.
He slowly gets on the cot next to me and settles himself. I awkwardly play with my hands, he lays a hand on both my hands. "Stop that."
"Sorry, I was just wondering if you were okay. You looked like you were in pain when you were getting up." I explained, he turned his head to me and stared. He pointed to his abdomen.
"3 fractured, 3 broken, one that was dislocated." He told me, his tone seemed almost emotionless.
"You're going to be okay right?" I nervously ask, I turn to face him. I've gotten to get to know him more, he's not a rude blister at all. He's gotten more attractive in my eyes to tell you the truth. He turns to me and chuckles.
"Yea, I'll be okay." He looked away and stared at the top of the tent.
"Peter, do you think Scott will be..." I start.
"Allison?" He interrupted, I shut my mouth and stare. His eyes were hard and his lips were in a thin line.
"Y-yea?" I mutter, he turned to me.
"Go to sleep." He told me in a deeper tone, I nod and snuggle my head against the pillow and close my eyes. I felt him relax, I couldn't help but open my eyes and look at him. His eyes were closed.
Sleepiness overcame me, I drifted off.

Peter POV

I wait until Allison was asleep before I sneak out of the room. I head outside and head to Matt's tent. I was restless, I was worried about Scott.
"Hey man. How you doing?" Matt greets me as I enter his tent.
"I'm fine, and you?" I ask, I walk in and sit on his couch.
"I'm pretty swell, what do you need?"
It really hurts to ask him to do this for me. I don't want anything bad to happen to him, even though I know he'll be careful. I rub the back of my neck nervously, looking away.
"Allison told me she had a nightmare about Scott. She thinks Hook and his pirates took him." I look at him, before I continued Matt knew what I was going to ask.
"You want me to find him and keep an eye on him." He concluded, I nodded. "Do you want me to get him out of there?"
"Are you up for it?" I ask him, I shift my weigh onto one leg, my side ached.
"Yea, I'll do it. I'll leave early tomorrow morning." He nods in agreement. I rest my hand on his shoulder.
"Thanks man, stay safe okay? Take someone with you." I wasn't asking. I turn and leave the tent, I walk back into the infirmary to check in on Ali.
"I think she's having a nightmare again." I heard Andrew say with his back to me, I could hear his smirk from across the room. I walk into her room and watch her toss and turn.
I walk to her bed, sit down, and hold her gently until she has calmed down. For a moment my chest tightened, I looked down at her calm peaceful face. I felt a twinge of regret, should I really give her away to the Umbra? I remember when Scott and I talked to her about the Umbra, she looked terrified.
I'm startled by a hand touching my face. I look down and notice Allison looking up at me, her hazel eyes made my chest ache. I felt at peace when I stared at her. Why? I don't like her, she shouldn't have this effect on me.
"Peter? What are you doing?" Allison questioned, I clear my throat and set her on the bed gently.
"You were having a nightmare." She looks at me, confused. She was lost in thought and looked at me. She wasn't all there, she seemed like she was half asleep.
"Thank you." Allison spoke quietly, she curled up on the cot facing me and closed her eyes. She looked exhausted.
"Can you stay with me?" She asked, her eyes still closed, blank face.
"Sure." I replied, I slowly lay on the cot next to her. I look back at her, she was out like a light, mouth hanging slightly open.
I glance at her dry lips, she's probably dehydrated. I get up and walk to the next room.
"Andrew, Allison's lips are dry. Has she had a lot to drink?" I question him. He turns to me and nods.
"I think she should have some more water, that could help her heal a little faster. Get that toxin out of her system. I'll go get her some." He walks out of the tent, leaving me alone.
"Peter." I hear her cry, I turn and walk into her room. She was still asleep, crying in her sleep. "Aaron."
I sit on the cot and call her name. She wakes up immediately, sits up, in a panic, she groans painfully.
"Where's Aaron?" She yells, her eyes were wide. I put my shoulders and push gently so she'll lay back down.
"Aaron is fine. He's in his tent." I assure her. She shakes her head, looking up at me. I brush hair out of her face, "I'll bring him here so you can see him. Okay?"
She nods, looking up at the ceiling. I get up and walk out of the tent to meet with Andrew. I nod and walk past, I go into Aaron's tent. I don't find him there, I go into Joshua's workshop and see Joshua working.
"Hey there Peter, how's it going. Looking for something?" He asks me, he was cutting a piece of wood with a knife.
"I'm looking for Aaron, know where he is?" I question him, he shakes his head.
"I haven't seen him since this morning." Joshua replies. I thank him and leave. I ask everyone else in camp if they've seen him. Everyone gave the same answer, they haven't seen him since this morning.
I rush, as fast as I can, to the waterfall and don't see him. I go to the hangman's tree, he wasn't there. Worried, I call out for him. I stand yelling his name for about five minutes until I decided to get back to camp.
An hour passed, everyone was out looking for Aaron. Matt and I went to the beach that was closest to camp.
We called for Aaron, our voices were almost gone.
"Peter." A small voice called. We spin around and catch a glimpse of a small cave behind a boulder. A childlike figure hid inside.
"Aaron? Are you okay?" I checked the area to see if it was clear. We walk to him and notice he was filthy. He was covered head to toe in sand, mud, and leaves.
"My god. What happened to you?" I heard Matt mutter.
"I went for a walk to the beach. I thought I'd be okay by myself. Pirates came out of no where and chased me. I ran through the water, fell in a pile of dirt, and ran in here. I hid here for hours, I was hoping you'd find me." Aaron explained quickly, shivering.
We get him to the water to wash off, and then lead him home. What am I going to tell Allison?
