Peter's POV

The boys danced and played their instruments. I sat on the log closest to the entrance of camp. I scan the area, until my eyes fall upon the girl I was so rude to earlier. She smiled at the dancing boys and clapped along to the music. To be completely honest I feel awful for saying those things to her, but I couldn't get myself to apologize. It must be a pride thing. Scott comes to sit next to me and puts an arm around my shoulder.
"Mate, you should go apologize, let loose and have fun." He yelled over the music. I look at him questioningly. How does he know about our fight? "Hey don't look at me like that, she told me what happened. And by the look on your face you feel guilty. Maybe if you apologized you could ease up a bit and dance like the rest of us."
I furrow my eyebrows, I look the other way towards the entrance of camp.
"Man, you're so stubborn." He spoke loudly. I sigh, and stand up, I motion him to follow me away from the fire. We stop out of ear range and I turn to look at Scott.
"Hook is back." I spoke out bluntly, he simply nods.
"Yes I know, Matt told me. Is that what you're worried about? He can be a little intense, but Hook isn't a problem, we can beat his ass in the ground easy. We've done it before." He waves his hands and smiles playfully. I haven't told him about one other thing.
"Umbra is back as well, get why I'm worried now?" Color leave his face pale as soon I say the words. "The girl, umbra, and now hook."
"Why didn't you tell me Peter?" He runs his hands through his hair anxiously. "I think that's an important detail to know."
"I know, I know. I'm sorry." I pace back in forth.
"Why is he back?" Scott nearly yells.
"Hell if I know." I scoff, the umbra ruined everything. It's power is stronger than mine, and to add to it he is MY shadow. He somehow peeled himself away taking a portion of the energy meant for me. "He's the one that brought Ali here."
Scott's eyes widened, "That means.."
"She's most likely in danger, he brought her here for a reason." I hesitate, and thought for a moment. Then it hit me, holy shit. I freeze in place, Scott stares at me. I couldn't hear what he was saying. She's his pawn, and she's staying in our camp.
"Peter, are you okay man?" He shook me, getting my attention. I shake it off. Only start walking towards the fire quickly. I look around for the blonde haired girl, but she was gone.
"Peter! What the hell? What's going on?" Scott ran after me. I turn to him in a panic, but I keep calm to not worry him as much.
"Ali's gone." I turn back towards the other boys, Scott brushes past me and grabs Aaron's shoulders.
"Where did Ali go?" He looks into Aaron's eyes.
"S-she told me she was going to the bathroom, but she went a different direction. What's going on Scott why are you frantic?" Aaron glances at me as I stand next to him.
"Which way did she go Aaron?" I asked as calmly as I could. He looks between Scott and I. He points south of the entrance. I kneel next to him, I give him a weak smile. "Have some fun okay? We just need to go talk to Ali."
"Oh ok." He smiles warmly and nods and goes back towards the other boys. I stand and quickly run with Scott in that direction that Aaron had pointed to.
"Scott, split up, we'll find her faster." I look at him, my breath picking up. He looks back at me and nods. I run into the trees while Scott goes a different way.
"Allison!!" We called. We looked through the trees, down paths, and behind rocks.
"Allison!" "Ali!" I called over and over. After the longest time I thought I was lost, I couldn't be, I know this island from the back of my hand. I circled around a thick tree quickly, about to call her name again. I was actually worried about her, surprisingly. Maybe she went to talk to the umbra to share their plans. Why look for her? I should just leave her out here. But I want answers and I wouldn't get them if I left. I turned I didn't look where I was going, I ran into someone.
"Oof." I heard her voice as I caught her before she hit the ground.
"Ali?!" I shouted. I scold her, holding her shoulders and looking straight into her blank hazel eyes. I could tell from the look of her, she wasn't all there. "What the hell, why did you run off like that? What if you got hurt? What if you got taken away?"
She looked at me clueless and dazed. She was sweating like she's been running.
"Peter? What are you doing?" She asked weakly ignoring my questions.
"Scott!" I shout, still holding her in place as if she would just disappear. "I found her!"
"Found me?" She questioned, I ignored her looking at Scott running towards us.
"Ali!" He yells happily. "Oh my god are you okay?"
He grabs her out of my grasp and nearly squeezes the life out of her. He grabs her wrists gently and he stares at her. He looks so relieved, but she looks as if she didn't know what was going on. She looked faint and pale, I put a hand on Scott's shoulders.
"Uhh Scott she doesn't look too good" I whisper. He looks and examines her. She stumbles backwards, her eyes shutting hesitantly. Scott grabbed her as her body went limp and nearly fell backwards.
"Ow! Shit!" Scott yelled out in pain squeezing his eyes shut, he gripped Ali's body. I take her away from him quickly.
"Scott? What's wrong?" I asked him carefully, he swore under his breath and grabbed onto his shoulder.
"My damn shoulder. Pain just shot ip my arm once I caught her." He gritted his teeth.
"Let's get back to camp, Andrew needs to take a look at you. I think Ali just needs some rest I'm sure." I pick her up, my right arm is holding her back, my left holding her legs. I look at Scott, "Can you make it to camp?"
He slowly nods, "Yeah, I can."
He holds his arm and starts walking forward towards camp. I look down at the limp body in my arms. Her head resting on my bicep as I walked on, her hair swaying back and forth. Scott wasn't kidding when he said she's was light as a feather. I kept my gaze forward, I took a glance at her sleeping body. I gritted my teeth, I need questions answered, and if she won't give me the answers I want, I'll force her.
