Karlie was still asleep like a baby when I woke up the following day. I climbed over her trying not to wake her up. I managed to get safely past several obstacles in my room and then out of my door down the stairs.

I poured myself a glass of chilled orange juice and then climbed up onto one of the wooden bar stools. I tapped my nails against the worktop and smiled in satisfaction that my nails had finally grown. I carried on drinking looking out of the French glass doors at the view outside. There was no cloud in the sky, not a single one to be seen for miles. How could I possibly be leaving all of this behind me? I new it was too late for doubts and so I tried to shake the thought out of my head.

I jumped when the doorbell rang and clung to the granite worktop to stop me from falling off the stool. I was grateful nobody had seen that. I started to panic in my pajamas that didn't cover me up so well. I pulled down my shorts and shrugged my shoulders and skipped not-so-gracefully to the door and swung it open.

"Hey Libby!" George almost knocked me over as he flew onto me and hugged me tightly.

"What are you doing?" I asked, looking to the clock in the living room.

He looked confused and offended, "what?"

"Its eight o' clock in the morning."

"So?"

"So people are sleeping."

"your not."

I opened my mouth to argue and shut it again. George smirked and walked past me into the living as I stood there looking like a dumb idiot.

when I found myself again I made us both some tea and warmed two breakfast muffins.

"I'm really looking forward to you coming back to England," he grinned. I loved the two dimples in his cheeks when he smiled like that.

"what are you looking at?"

I snapped out of my day-dream-thinking-thing and cleared my throat. "Nothing. Yeah me too."

"You don't seem that happy about it. Are you sure your ok?" George's eyes were washed with worry and concern. I was glad I had someone like that to play the big brother role in my life. it was nice that he still cared.

"You know... its just. leaving again.."

"I know." He slid up the sofa next to me and put an arm around my waist for comfort.

"Thanks for everything George."

"Its what I'm here for," he smiled.

Shortly after George had left, I went upstairs to get changed out of my pajamas. Karlie was still sleeping so I decided to leave her for a while longer since she was clearly tired from last night.

I had no idea what to do with myself and realised that I never really had spare time on my hands. I picked up one of my books from the shelf and took it outside to read. Will always moans about the books i read. he says they're soppy mush and very unbeliveable. As a matter of fact, i think they are very believable. I lay on the grass that was yellowing from the sun and started to read.

I heard a scream from upstairs."Libbyyyy!"

I sighed. So much for relaxing in the sunshine. Honestly, being with Karlie is like having my own child to watch every second of every day.

"I'm outside!"

shortly after, Karlie ran out of the door and plopped down onto the grass next to me. "I'm so excited for later!"
