"UGH!" I groaned.

"What's wrong miss?" Marian asked.

"I have a date tomorrow. " They all squealed and I groaned once more. "Its after lunch and I would like it to not be a big deal."

"Yes Ma'am. Now what are you going to wear." I gave her a look.

"Out. All of you. Right now. I'll see you in the morning." I commanded. They nodded and made their way out. I flopped onto my bed and didn't move until I eventually fell asleep.

I woke up to a shaking of my shoulders.

"Miss you have to wake up. It's almost time for breakfast. " Marian spoke calmly. I groaned.

"Do I have to go today? Can't I sleep in?"

"Nope." She said matter of factly.

"Please?" I pouted.

"Fine. I'll tell them you have a headache and asked to stay in bed a while longer." Her words brought a smile to my face.

"Thank you Marian. You're a life saver." I heard my door open and close and relaxed into my pillow.

In what felt like five minutes my door opened.

"Mer! When you didn't come to breakfast we were worried about you!" Punzies voice rang in my ears.

"I'm fine you can leave." I groaned.

"Are you sure?" This time it was Elsa's voice.

"Yes I'm sure I just wanted some extra sleep. I'll see you at lunch." I assume they nodded before letting themselves out.

After another gap of time there was a knock on my door.

"Guys I'm fine! I told you to go away." I yelled. I heard the door open and close and groaned.

"Is that any way to talk to a prince?" I rolled over and saw Jack standing with his arms crossed, smirking.

"Don't you have prince crap to attend to?" I frowned. He laughed at me.

"Someone's not a morning person...well noon person." He chuckled.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"12:00. Your maid said she was coming to wake you up but I told her I would." He explained. "We have a date remember?"

"I remember it was after lunch." I said smugly.

"Well considering by the time you're ready it will be after lunch, I think I'm right on time. " He smirked again.

"Exactly. I have to get ready so you can go have lunch and I'll meet you there."

"I think I'll wait here." I was about to yell at him when I decided to give up.

"Fine. But I have to bathe. My closet is right there so you can pick out a dress and I'll go bathe quickly. Stay out of the bath room though. Got it?"

"Sure thing."

I did as I said and cleaned myself quickly. I came out in a towel to grab the dress he picked. It was laying on my bed as Jack was looking at photos of my family. The dress was a light green strapless gown with gold trim.

"Wow. You have surprisingly good taste." I chuckled. Jack turned around and his eyes widened. I realized I was still wearing just a towel. "Right I'll be right back."

I got dressed and left the bathroom to see Jack looking at me. "Stop staring. We have a date to go on." He chuckled and hooked his arm around mine.

"Where to Milady?"

"Hey. You asked me out. You pick the date."

"Come on. What do you like?"

"Archery." I shrugged. And with that we went to the archery fields. I picked up the bow and chose an arrow. I loaded the bow and started to pull back when I felt two arms around me. I laughed mentally as he guided my arms. I let the string go and it was in the second ring from the center.

"Now you try." He said. I tried not to laugh and regained my focus. I drew back the string and let the arrow fly. Bullseye. "You've done this before."

"Yup and now you look like an idiot. So why did you want to hang out today?" I asked laying down in the grass. He layed down beside me.

"Because I need help. You're friends with Elsa right?" He asked.

"Yes."

"Do you think you could help me woo her?" It seemed like an odd request but I had nothing to lose.

"Sure. But what about all of the other girls in there?"

"They are just distractions I guess." I frowned.

"You're using them to buy yourself time?"

"Maybe." I punched is arm and he stood up. He offered me his hand and I took it standing up. "So once a week we will meet and you'll tell me about her. Unless we are on camera, then we have to act romantic."

I fake gagged. He laughed. We both calmed down before entering the castle and going our separate ways.
