After speaking with Mer I kept my eye on Prince Jack hoping I would get a chance to speak with him. Fortunately I caught him walking alone through the hall.

"Prince Jack." I called after him. A smile was immediately brought to his face.

"Hello Lady Rapunzel." He said charmingly.

"Hi. I was wondering if you were busy right now?" It was sort of awkward asking the Prince out but it wasn't purposely like that.

"You know, I'm supposed to do the asking." He chuckled. I felt my cheeks heating up.

"I know I just wanted to talk."

"Well I am busy right now but I can stop by your room later tonight." He suggested.

"Sounds great." I kissed his cheek before skipping off to find Merida.

Later that night, Prince Jack knocked on my door. My maids had already finished getting me ready so they were gone.

"Welcome to my humble abode. " I giggled allowing him to enter my room.

"Technically it's my abode and it's anything but humble." He laughed sitting on my bed. "So what did you want to talk to me about?" I bit my lip.

"Well uh, I wanted to talk to you about the upcoming elimination you're planning." I sighed. He looked somewhat shocked, partly irritated and sort of understanding.

"Oh. I was hoping to not talk about my decision with anyone." He groaned.

"I know and I know it's a difficult decision. I'm not trying to sway your decision at all. I just wanted to tell you that you shouldn't let anyone else influence your decision. "

"Well that's actually sort of refreshing." He said. "Thanks." He realized that was all I had to say and escorted himself out. At the door I said one last thing to him.

"Elsa would make a great queen." Then I shut the door. I released a breath I didn't even know I was holding as I heard his footsteps go away from my door. The door was thrown open minutes later by Merida.

"Seriously? What if I was naked?" I groaned.

"Sorry Punz. I got a wee bit excited." Her Scottish accent showed a bit for the first time.

"Yeah yeah yeah." We both laughed.

"I talked to Prince Jack so I think we are good, for now. I'm just hoping I don't have one foot out of the door." I sighed.

"As if. If Jack-"

"Prince Jack." I corrected. Merida rolled her eyes at me then continued.

"If Prince Jack sends you home I'll kick his arse." I tried to hold back a laugh.

"Mer! He's a prince!" I protested letting a slight giggle escape. We ended up rolling on the floor laughing. I pushed the thought of Prince Jack eliminating me and just had a good time with one of my best friends.
