I haven't left my bed in almost a week. I refused to eat and it was taking a toll on me. Only one person was allowed in my room and it was my maid who made sure no one else came in. She brought food in everyday but every night it left my room untouched.

Punzie and Merida tried to visit me the most. Jack also tried to visit at least once a day but I refused. I stayed wrapped up in my blankets away from the world.

No one understood what happened and I didn't expect them to. When Vanessa's hand came across my face all I could think of was my dad. How without me, Anna might not be safe. I was terrified that he was beating her now that I wasn't there. I remembered all the times he hit me. I just couldn't comprehend.

It was the day of the report and I still didn't move. The maid brought me a screen so I could watch.

"Prince Jack it seems like you have one less lady among us. Have you eliminated Lady Elsa? " The entire crowd the shocked.

"No. I have not eliminated Lady Elsa." A huge sigh of relief echoed through the audience.

"Why is the young lady not with us this evening?" Genie asked.

"Lady Elsa has been feeling a bit under the weather so we decided it would be best if she stayed in her room this evening." A collective Aww filled the crowd.

"Well we all hope she gets better." I couldn't get over the fact that he lied for me. I pulled my blankets around me tighter. A few minutes after the Report ended, there was a knock on my door. My maid opened it.

"Your highness I can't let you in." She said to Jack.

"Come on Els we always talk after the report!" Jack pleaded. I just layed there feeling lifeless. I started to doze off when I heard alarms. I sat up quickly looking around for some sort of explanation.

"Lady Elsa you must go through here." My maid was standing in front of a tunnel. I still didn't get up. "Lady Elsa you are in danger please go through the tunnels." I stood up for the first time in a week and walked through the tunnel still curled up in my blankets. I followed the tunnels to a room filled with all of the selected and the royal family. I spotted Mer and Punzie but decided not to sit with them. I sat in a corner on my own. I felt a presence beside me.

"Hey." It was Jack. I stayed silence. "Did I do something wrong?" Silence. "Is it because of what happened last week. I'm sorry I thought you were okay with it. I never meant to make you do anything I-"

"Stop." I said. My lips were dry from being together so long. "Its nothing you did." I sighed.

"Thank goodness. What's wrong?" He asked.

"I don't want to talk about."

"Okay. But if you do I'm here for you." He said genuinely. I looked up at him and he reached over to touch my face. I flinched and moved away. "Els?"

"Sorry." He reached over again and this time I didn't move.

"I'm happy you're okay. Now do me a favor and eat something." He said rubbing his thumb gently on my cheek.

"Ok."
