Because of the rebel attack a few girls asked to be eliminated. Once again Jack planned to do a group elimination on the report. The girls were hesitant to stay for a week but Jack charmed them.

Elsa had been on better terms with him as well. They went to the roof almost everyday.

Merida told me about her crush on one of Jacks guards and I thought it was adorable, except for the fact that we're all supposed to be fighting for Jack.

I hadn't seen too much of the prince but he would smile at me when he walked by or wave from across the dining hall.

The week had passed and it was finally time for the report. There were only two of us left and the number was about to get smaller. We would be getting down to the Elite.

I was escorted to the stage by the same guard as always, Flynn.

"You look rather lovely today." He smiled. He always gave me small compliments like that.

"Thank you." I replied politely. We had grown to be friends, almost, but things were still awkward because of the first time we met.

I walked onto the stage and sat in my usual spot.

"After today we will be part of the Elite!" I squealed happily to Merida and Elsa.

"Hopefully." Els rolled her eyes at me.

"OH shush! We both know at least you are safe! Plus I think Jack likes me, even if it is just in a friend way." Elsa blushed at my comment.

The report started and we sat and smiled for most of it. Genie interviewed Jack and a few girls before coming to me. I was definitely not prepared for that.

"Lady Rapunzel!" He annouced. I smiled and tried to hide my fear.

"Hello Genie!" I replied.

"We haven't heard much from you at all. Which is a surprise because you are a definite fan favorite!" This shocked me completely.

"Wow. I'm so happy that the people of Burgess like me. I had no idea!" I stated honestly.

"Well how could they not? From what I hear you are wonderful!"

"That's very sweet of you to say but I'm just as great as any one of these girls beside me." Except Vanessa.

"And humble too! If Prince Jack doesn't keep you, all the men of Burgess will be lining up for your hand!" He chuckled. I blushed and sat down knowing that was the end of my interview.

"Now the sad moment we hoped would never come. Prince Jackson has an elimination." The crowd all sighed.

"It is true. Today is the day I will narrow  these girls down to the Elite." Jack announced. The audience applauded him and screams echoed through the studio. "As time passes I grow more attached to all of you so it is very hard for me to say goodbye but I'm afraid I must say goodbye to four of you." Jack took a deep breath then began saying names. "Giselle, Ariel, Belle and" I desperately hoped it wouldn't be Elsa, Merida or myself. "Vanessa. I'm very sorry ladies." It took all of my energy to stop myself from cheering. I looked to Elsa and Merida who were both thinking the exact same thing. Ding dong the witch is gone! I was so happy.

The report ended, Vanessa threw a hiss fit and the three of us went back to Elsa's room to celebrate.
