A New Beginning

Chapter 10 : 3 Doors

I dropped all my stuff in the living room and went upstairs to my room . I opened the door and landed on my bed . I was exhausted . So tired . I really want to sleep . I knew that if I wanted to rest I would have to finish my homework first . I tried to get out of bed but it was hard to pick myself up . Eventually I stood up and walked downstairs . I picked up my stuff and sat on the couch in the living room .
I took out my Science homework and started writing on the paper . During Science I was actually focused during that class and I understood most of the stuff . I finished my Science homework in a flash and grabbed my math homework . " Oh yay... " I said sarcastically . I grabbed my pencil and tried to write but I just couldn't . I didn't pay attention in Math . Since I didn't pay attention in Math and didn't know what the hell I was doing in that class , I took out my IPhone and looked up the answers . After I completed writing all the answers I put my Math homework away and took out my Health homework but then realized that I had a study hall tomorrow and that I could finish that homework in study hall . I put my homework away and put it back in my book bag . I then picked up my book bag and put it inside the closet .

I slowly walked up the stairs and went inside my room . I laid on the bed and slowly drifted to sleep .

I started having a dream . I was in a blank with room . There was nothing but white . I starting walking around . The floor was invisible . It was like I was walking on air . " Hello ? " I called out . " Is anybody here ? " I shouted . " I'm here... " A familiar voice said . I couldn't remember who's voice it was . " Where are you ? " I asked while looking around . " You are not able to see my yet... but soon... I'll appear in reality one day and see you... You maybe not element who I am right now... but once you see me you will... " The voice replied . " Then what's your name ? " I asked . " I cannot tell you that until I see you in reality...but when you see me you will remember who I am... " The voice whispered . " Okay . " I responded . " Why am I here though ? " I questioned . " This place is where you have to choose to go through one of the three doors in this room.. " The voice told . All of a sudden 3 doors showed up . 2 of the doors where rusty and old . They were really creepy . Then there was a door in the middle . It was colorful and sparkly . " Be careful about which door you go through... It could change your life... in reality... " The voice told . " Oh... let me think about this... " I told . How could it change my life ? It's only a dream . I knew that if you realized you were dreaming you could control it , but for some odd reason I couldn't control it . I didn't ask why I couldn't control it . " Make wise a choice... I can't tell you which doors are bad for your future or good for your future... " The voice said . I decided to go through the colorful door . But that's when it happened and I was back in the nightmare . It was the exact nightmare about going into a game store . It was exactly the story . When I was getting eaten alive in my dream , the familiar voice shouted " You toke the wrong path... I'm sorry but you can't go back... " The voice told me . " WHAT ?!?!? " I shouted . I didn't understand how this could affect me in reality but I was starting to believe it was real . " NO ! " I screamed . I remember the pain . The pain was awful in this dream the first time but it was 10x worse now . " AHHHHHHHHHH !!!!! " I screamed . " AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..... " I screamed while it started turning black .

I stood up in bed with my eyes wide open . I looked around the room realizing that I wasn't in the dream anymore . " It's all over now.. " I said as I sighed in relief and wiped the sweat off my forehead . " Mmmmm... " I mumbled as I stretched . I then got out of my bed and went downstairs . I checked the time and it was 4:00 pm . I had only slept for an hour . My dad was already home . My mom should've been home an hour ago but she must of been running late . My dad came out of the kitchen . " Hey Asuka can you do me a favor ? " My dad asked . " Sure , what do you need me to do ? " I questioned . " I was wondering if you could go to the city that we live close to . I want you to try to find Alice Madness Returns in a game store . Can you do that for me ? " He said . In my nightmare I was in a city and I was looking for Alice Madness Returns in a game store . I didn't want to go . When he said that my eyes went wide and I started shivering . " What's wrong Asuka ? " He asked . " Not... nothi... nothing... nothing at all... " I said in a terrified tone . I couldn't tell him that I wouldn't go there because of a nightmare I had . He would think that was ridiculous . " Here's the money . " He said as he handed over the money . I took the money out of his hand . " Okay...bye... " I said with wide eyes . I shivered . The hairs on the back of my neck stood up . I put on my shoes and coat and walked out the door .
