Chapter 34 : Realizing Things

Momotarou and I found an empty table and we sat down . I started taking my lunch out . I then placed it on the table and started eating it . Momotarou took out his lunch and started eating it too .

We both started staring into eachother's eyes . I started feeling strange . Ever since yesterday , I started feeling strange around him . We stared into each other's eyes . We just stared for what seemed like hours . Suddenly he broke the silence .

" So...do you like the Eren Nendoroid figure I got ? " He asked . I was really happy when he gave me the figure . " I love it . Eren and Levi look so cute standing right next to each other... " I said as words poured out of my mouth . I was an Ereri shipper . I started blushing because I was talking about them . I tried to hide it from Momotarou , but he saw me blushing . He stared at me for a second . " Wait...are you an Ereri shipper ? " He questioned me . I got really nervous . " Uhh...um...uh... " I mumbled . You can tell me the truth . You can trust me . " He told . More words poured out of my mouth . " Um...yeah...I am an Ereri shipper... " I sighed . I was hoping that he didn't think it was weird . " Uh...I'm very sorr-... " I said before being interrupted . " No need to say sorry . I am okay with whoever you ship . " He responded back .

I then realized . That he was acting different . I've heard people in school say that he isn't very nice and that he has is not patient . But for some odd reason when he was around his friends , he acted different . Maybe he was acting like himself around his friends . I couldn't believe that I had just realized that he was acting different right now . I was surprised that I hadn't realized that in the beginning . I had to ask him .

" Hey Momotarou , I have a question for you . " I said . " Yes ? " He responded back . " How come you act so nice around your friends ? " I asked him . " I am more comfortable around my friends . I feel like I can just be myself around them . " He replied back . Suddenly , a few more words poured out of my mouth . " Are you comfortable being around me ? " I questioned . I just sat there thinking to myself " Why did you just say that ? " The words must've came out on their own . We stopped talking and stared at each other . It was quiet and awkward . I started blushing . I was embarrassed . Suddenly Momotarou said something . " I feel comfortable around you... " He told as he scratched the back of his head awkwardly .

I had no idea why I asked that question but I just felt that I had to .

" It's good that you feel comfortable around me... " I said . " Yeah . " He responded back . When we were waiting for our friends to come to the table , Momotarou and I stared at each other . It felt weird but it also nice .
