A New Beginning

Chapter 21 : The Scarf

As we walked down the sidewalk , everybody was talking with each other . I wasn't . I stared at the ground .

All of a sudden something touched my arm . I flinched and looked to my side . It was Momotarou . " So you like Babymetal huh . " He said . " Yeah... " I replied back . " What do you like them ? " " No but I used to have a friend that liked Babymetal . The song that you were listening to was her favorite . " He told . When he said that I sensed something wrong but I couldn't tell what it was . " Interesting... " I responded back . His face went from a blank stare to a little bit of an upset face . It was kinda weird seeing him make a face like that . He hadn't made a face like that ever since I met him and the rest of the group a few hours ago .

" You okay ? You seem kinda upset . " He said as he looked at the ground back and back into my eyes . All of a sudden I looked into his eyes . His eye had a glow . He had an eye patch so I could only see one of his eyes . My heart skipped a beat . " Uh...uh...uh no ! I'm alright ! I...I...I'm just kinda tired... " I replied shouting a little . " Okay then . " He said sarcastically . " I'm not lying ! " I shouted as I laughed .

We just had and on going conversation . It felt good to talk to somebody new . I felt weird . A strange feeling . I didn't know what it was .

While Momotarou and I kept blabbering , Lady Shizuka said " We are almost there ! " Everybody listened to what she had said for a second and then we all went back to chatting . " Hey you look cold . " He said . I looked over to him and said nothing . I then noticed that I was shaking . " Here , you can keep this . " Momotarou told . Momotarou then took off his scarf and placed it into my hands . I looked down at the scarf . " Are...are you sure ? " I questioned him softly . " Yes I am sure . " He replied back . " Thanks ! " I smiled . We stood there for a few seconds . Just staring at each other . We started getting left behind .

" We better catch up to them . " He said . " Yeah . " I replied back . We started running towards them . " Wait for us ! " Momotarou shouted at the group . They all turned around and looked at us . They waited . " Oohh , I wonder what they were doing back there...hee hee ! " Amaya laughed . I heard what Amaya said .

Momotarou and I both ran into the group . I walked up to Amaya and nudged her . " Hey shut up ! " I playfully nudged . " What were you guys doing back there ? " Saori asked . " Yeah ? " Kaguya questioned . " We weren't doing anything ! I promise ! " I told . " Haha ! Right... " Amaya said playfully . I then went behind the crowd where Momotarou was . We started talking again .

We then walked into a city that was familiar . One that was too familiar . One I didn't want to go to . My eyes got wide as I looked at the city . " Where here ! " Miroku shouted . " Let's gooooooo ! " Ibaraki and Amaterasu shouted out . I was scared . I wanted to go in but there was just one request that I had . Not go into the game store...
