A New Beginning

Chapter 5 : A Perfect House

We drove for hours and hours . I just sat in the car looking out the window . I was so bored . My dad obviously knew I was bored and asked me if I would like to go anywhere when we got to our new home . I denied his request . I didn't want to go anywhere . I didn't want to do anything .

We stopped by a gas station to get gas . My mom told me that we were getting close to our new house . She told me that we were 27 miles away from it . I couldn't wait to get there . I only wanted to get there so I could Skype my friends . My mom would just have to connect me to the wifi first . " Your father and I will be right back . We are just going to grab some snacks from the gas station . " She told . " Okay . " I replied . My dad got out of the car and went into the store with my mom . As I waited for them to come back , my kitty senses started to act up . Something was wrong . I looked out the window and saw a familiar man getting gas . I then realized that it was the guy from my dream . The guy that turned into a zombie and tried to eat me . He looked and me and then I ducked . He started walking towards the car but then he backed away . My parents came out of the store and got into the car . My heart was pounding . I was so scared . " Here Asuka , I bought you some Pocky . " He said as he handed over the Pocky . I turned around . " Oh , thanks . " I answered back . I took the Pocky out of his hand and opened it . As we were leaving , I saw him give me an evil grin and then he got into his car . My ears plastered to my head . I was starting to get nervous . He started following us . My parents didn't realize what was going on . I didn't want to tell my parents because they would've thought I was crazy . I was really scared . My heart felt like it was going to pound out of my chest any minute .

I stared through the back window of the car . I looked at his face . I saw him with a creepy grin on his face . He looked liked a molester . I looked at the stuff he had in the backseat of his car . He had stuff that I wished I hadn't seen . The only thing that was appropriate in the back was a cheese grater . I had a strange feeling about it . I ignored it though .

We drove for a little while and the creepy man was still following us . I was paying attention to him more than my parents . I was so scared because he had been following us for awhile . All of a sudden my mom turned around and poked my arm . I turned around and looked at her . " We are home ! How do you like it ? " She announced . " Well it looks really nice of the outside . I just have to see if I really like the inside . " I told my mom . " I understand . " She said . I turned back around to see if the man was still following us , but he was nowhere to be seen . My heart stopped beating fast . I was so happy that he was gone . I could finally relax again . Well , maybe . I had to see if I could get used to the house . I also had school tomorrow . I was scared about going to a new school . I really missed my friends .

I got out of the car and took one of my boxes inside . When I opened the fire and walked into the house , my jaw and the box dropped to the floor . It was so pretty and was in so much better condition than the one I used to live in . The living room had a fire place and had a lot of space . I walked down the hall to the kitchen . There were so many cabinets were we could hold stuff . I looked through the cabbies and found a little tiny button . It was really hard to see . I pressed it and a big drawer popped out . I could finally hide food from my parents . I than wasn't up the spiral staircase . I walked down the hallway and all of a sudden my mom was right behind me . " That's were your room is . " She said as she pointed to a room . I walked over to that room and opened the door . My eye couldn't believe what I was seeing . There was so much space . My old room had almost like no space , but in this room I could fit the desk that had been in the basement for years and so much more stuff . I was really excited .

I walked inside my new room and placed the box in the middle of my room . I then started running back and forth to get my stuff from the car and then place it in my room . After 10 minutes or so I was ready to take everything out and start putting stuff in my room .

After a long time I finally finished putting all my things around the room . While I was working , my dad came upstairs and put the big desk in my room because u asked hi if I could have it . Today had been a long and exciting day . Except for seeing that creepy guy . He gave me chills up my spine .

It was 9:32 pm . Since it was such a long day , I knew that I should probably gotten to sleep early . I laid my head on my pillow and stared at the wall . Today had been so long and exciting . I had been so happy that day . I laid there , thinking to myself " What is tomorrow going to be like ? " I asked myself . I already had an answer for that question... Hell...
