A New Beginning

Chapter 31 : Skype

I then looked for the lock on the door knob . I found the lock and hit it . I crawled away from the door and searched for my IPad . I went through my duffel bag and picked it up . I turned it on and sat on the bed .

I opened Skype and hoped that Rin , Kuro , Naomi , & Momoko were online . Most of the time they were talking to each other so I expected them to be online . They were all available . They must've noticed that I was online because they invited me into a call . I took a deep breath and hit the answer button .

" ASUKA !!! " Naomi cheered . " There you are ! " Kuro said . " Ah I miss you ! " Rin told . " I'm so happy to see you again ! " Momoko smiled . " Not so good... " I replied . " Now why did you leave ? " Rin questioned . I took a deep breath .

I showed my face and I was about to tell them what happened but then Kuro interrupted me . " What happened to your eye ? " Kuro asked . I still had my eyepatch on . " I fell... " I responded back quietly . " Oh . " He said . " Well what happened ? " Rin asked . I took another deep breath .

" I don't know where my mother is and my father dead... I told . " What ?!?!? " Naomi shouted . " I have no idea where my mom went...I miss her so much... " I sighed . " Oh my...Asuka... " Momoko frowned . " And my father crashed through 3 houses with his car... " I sighed . " You must be feeling horrible right now... " Kuro said . " Yeah... " I replied back with a sigh . " I cried so much I can't even cry anymore... " I told them . " Oh Asuka... I wish I could hug you right now... " Momoko said with a frown . " Me too... I miss you guys so much... " I told them again . " We miss you so much... " Naomi replied back . " We miss dearly... " Rin said .

There was silence . All of a sudden Momoko broke the silence . " So how has school been ? " She asked quietly . " Boring... " I replied back . " How ? " Rin questioned . " Well I guess it isn't that bad...I mean the work is boring but Amaya and Saori are both there... Also I made friends with 8 other people... " I told . " Nice . " Naomi replied back . " But there are two bad things...there is this girl that constantly tries to piss me off...She hates me and I hate her... But the other thing is people stare at me a lot because I'm a Zuneko... " I told . " I'm so sorry to hear that . I hope everything gets better . " Rin responded back . I then started telling them where I am .

" But right now I am at Amaya's house...Saori lives with her...I might be living with Amaya and Saori because my plan for keeping my house may not work...Right now I am in the guest bedroom... " I said . " I hope your plan works . " Kuro replied back . " Thanks... " I responded back . " No wonder why where you are looks a little familiar . " Naomi said . I was getting tired .

" Well I have to go...I need some energy for tomorrow...Bye... " I told them . " Okay goodbye ! " Momoko said . Everyone else said goodbye and then I got off .

I got off of the bed and went over to my duffel bag . I changed into my pajamas and got my toothbrush . I walked into the mini bathroom in the bedroom and I brushed my teeth . I then walked out of the bathroom and walked over to the window . There was a curtain on the window . I shut and then crawled onto the bed . I got under the covers . I turned on the alarm in my phone and turned it off . I placed it right next to me and I shut my eyes .

I kept on hearing noises from my phone . They were text messages . I got texts from 7 people from the group of 8 . The person that didn't text me was Momotarou . When I realized that he didn't text me , it made me kinda of upset . I don't know why it made me upset . I got texts that said " Why did you leave ? " and stuff like " What's wrong ? " I decided to turn my message notifications off .

When I turned them off , I turned my phone off and went to sleep .
