A New Beginning

Chapter 4 : Leaving Home

I didn't want to get out of bed but I knew that I had to . I put all the blankets and pillows away and put them in the box that was near my bed . I picked up the box and walked out of my room . I walked down the stairs and went into the living room .

My mom was there organizing the boxes and putting them in a neat pile . " Good morning mom . " I said . " Good morning sweetheart . Can I have that box your carrying please ? " She asked . I put the the box in her arms . " You can go wait in the car if you would like . " She told me . " Okay . " I responded . I was so tired . I didn't want to leave either . " What time are we leaving at ? " I asked . It was probably not a lot of time . She said that I couldn't see my friends when we were going to leave . " At 7:30 . It was only 6:30 . Why couldn't I see my friends ? I would have an hour to spend time with them . " Why can't I see my friends ? We have like an hour left . " I asked . She looked pissed off . " Asuka , I'm sorry but that's not a lot of time . " She responded . " Mom , that's a bunch of bullshit ! There's 1 hour left before we leave and I can't see my friends ?!?!? " I started to complain . " Asuka , I don't want to hear it ! " She said with a tone in her voice . " Why the hell do you do this to me ?!?!? Your always saying I can't see my friends and they almost never get to come over here !!!!! WHY THE FUCK DO YOU TORTURE ME LIKE THIS !!!!! JUST BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T HAVE FRIENDS , DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T PULL MY FRIENDS AWAY FROM ME !!!!! " I yelled at her . I had never said " Fuck " in front of her and I knew that I was screwed . " ASUKA GET UPSTAIRS NOW !!!!! " She screamed . " WHY THE HELL SHOULD I GET UP THERE ?!?!? " I screamed back at her . All of a sudden she raised her hand and slapped me across the face . She had never slapped me before . I was so shocked . She gave me shocked face too . I ran up the stairs and slammed the door behind me .

I sat down on my bed . I then laid down and started at the floor . I was so screwed . My dad was going to get pissed and then he would yell at me . I heard my mom coming up the stairs . She then walked towards my room . She then knocked on the door . " Asuka... Asuka please open the door.. " She pleaded in an upset voice . " Asuka... please ... I'm sorry... I really wish you could see your friends... but... it just can't happen... " She told . " I'm being serious... " She said . I didn't want her to come in . I didn't want to see her . She stopped talking and I didn't say a word either . She came in without my permission . I hissed at her . " Asuka , plea- . " She said but she got interrupted by my hissing . " Come on , it's time to get in the car . " She told . " Fine . " I said . I then walked past her , not trying to look at her . I could feel her eyes on me . She was upset . I started to feel bad . I turned around and looked at her . " I'm sorry mom . " I said . " It's okay . " She told . I saw her brighten up and she started acting like her normal self . That made me feel better . I just wasn't happy about one thing . I was leaving this place for good .

When I walked outside , I turned around and gave the house a good stare . I was sure going to miss this place . I lived in this house ever since I was born . I turned back around and got in the car . I was scared about leaving and I was nervous . My dad was already in the car . He was all set and ready to go . He didn't like the house . He didn't like it because of the space in the bathroom . There wasn't a lot of space in the bathroom . I didn't really care about it .

After 30 minutes of sitting in the car , my mom sat down and closed the door behind her . When she got into the car , my stomach started to ache and so did my head . I felt like something was draining me . My mom turned the key and the car started up . She then pushed on the gas peddle . We had left my home for good .
