Chapter 39 : The Truth

I stared at her in shock . " Mi-...Mi-...Mika ? What are doing here ? " I questioned . " I'm here to protect you . " She replied stroking my head again . I dodged her hands and I glared at her . I stared deep into her eyes . What ? Why would she want to protect me ? I hate her and she hates me . " To protect me ? But I thought you hated my guts ? " I responded . She sighed . I looked deep within her eyes . Something was up . " The truth is I don't actually hate you . " She replied back quietly staring down at the floor . She looked worried . " Then why do you treat me like shit ? You act like u hate me ! " I asked raising my voice and using a little bit of tone . She sighed again and closed her eyes with her head down . " I...I...I...I just didn't want the...the popular girls...to hate me...I fucking hate them...but I just want to be accepted so that's why I stick around them...if I stopped being with them so often they would ask why I wasn't with them...I hate wearing makeup all the time too...I hate it... " She said . I felt kinda bad for her . All she wanted to do was to fit in . " Why do you want to fit in ? " I questioned . " I just want to be accepted...be seen as a huma-... " Mika paused .

I caught a word . Human . Be seen as a human . " What do you mean " be seen as a human ? " I stared at her . She covered her mouth . " Oh no... " Mika mumbled . " What ? " I asked . " I guess I'll show you...but this needs to be a secret...are we okay with each other now or are we still enemies ? " She questioned . I didn't really know because half of me hated her and half of me started to forgive her . " I don't really know... " I replied back . " Well I hope that we can make up because I don't want to be enemies with you...I never did...I just did it because those girls told me too and I was to afraid to say no because they probably would've told everybody I was a bitch or something like that . " She told . I stared into her eyes . I was really starting to feel bad for her . Maybe I could just give her a chance . " I...I guess so...I'll give you a chance... " I replied back quietly . " Yay ! " She cheered as she hugged me . She was hugging me so tightly . Then she stopped hugging me .

She sat in front of me . " Do you promise you won't tell anybody ? " She asked again . " Yes I promise . " I responded back . She smiled . Her smile was really pretty . She looked so innocent and sweet . I could tell that giving her a second chance was a good choice . " Okay . Here I go . " She said . She then stood up and backed away . She closed her eyes . Suddenly sparkles surround her and she started floating . " Kendemi cowoasay ! " She chanted . Right after she said that , light surrounded her . It was so bright you couldn't see anything . The light disappeared and she was back on the ground . I couldn't believe what I saw .
