A New Beginning

Chapter 32 : Morning

" BEEP ! BEEP ! BEEP ! " My alarm screamed . I slowly reached for my phone and turned my alarm off . I rubbed my eyes and slid out of bed . I crawled towards my duffel bag and opened it up . I took out my brush , my school uniform , and a pair of socks .

I stood up and picked up my brush and my socks . I threw them onto the bed . There was a huge mirror in from of me . I stared at my reflection . I was starting to feel uncomfortable . There was something about that mirror that frightened me a bit . But I put that aside and started focusing on what I had to .

I started getting undressed . I unbuttoned my pajama shirt and it fell to the ground . I then took off my pajama pants and the plopped to the ground . I felt as if I was being watched . I didn't like the feeling at all . But once again I tried to get that out of my mind .

I then took out a bra and a pair of panties out of my duffel bag . I took of the underwear I had been wearing in out on my new pair and then put on my bra . I took the dirty clothes and put them in a pile . When I got downstairs I was going to ask Amaya where the laundry room was .

I then clutched my school uniform and slid it on . I then walked over to the bed and put on my socks . I grabbed my brush and started brushing my hair . It was hard to brush but I eventually got all the knots out of my hair . I then put the brush back in my duffel bag and I zipped the bag back up . I then grabbed the pile of dirty clothes .

I closed the door behind me as I exited the room . I walked through the hallway and went down the stairs . At the bottom of the stairs , my book bag laid up against the corner of the wall . I picked it up and went into the kitchen .

I saw Amaya cooking some eggs and bacon . She noticed me as I walked into the room . " Good morning Asuka ! You feeling better ? " Amaya asked me . I still felt depressed . But not as depressed as I was yesterday . " No , not really . But I do feel a tiny bit better than I did yesterday . " I told . " Ah , well that's good to hear . Somewhat good to hear . " She responded back smiling a little bit . " Anyways , where is the laundry room ? " I questioned her . " It's at the end of that hallway . " She said as she pointed at the hallway . " Thanks . " I responded back .

I walked down the hallway and opened the door at the end . I entered the room and walked over the to the washing machine . It wasn't washing anything and there wasn't anything in it . I dropped the clothes into the washing machine and exited the room . I shut the door behind me and walked back into the kitchen .

" Take a seat next to me . " A voice said . I turned my head to see Saori sitting down at the table . I felt bad about yelling at her yesterday . " Are you sure ? " I questioned . " I'm am pretty sure . " She replied back . " Oh , okay . " I said . I took my book bag and placed it on the ground . I then sat next to Saori . We started having a conversation about how we were doing until Amaya served us the food she had made and then sat down next to me . As we ate , the three of us had a conversation about cats . I don't even know why we where talking about cats .

When we finished our breakfast . I walked back upstairs and entered the guest bedroom . I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth . I then walked out of the room and closed the door behind me . I ran down the stair and sprinted into the kitchen room and grabbed my book bag . I then put my shoes on and waited for Amaya and Saori to finish what they were doing .

A few minutes later , Saori and Amaya were ready to go . We all didn't want to go but we had to . The three of us then walked out of the house made our way towards school .
