A New Beginning

Chapter 30 : Avoid

I stared at the floor while everybody else was laughing their guts out . When the laughs started to fade away Amaya said something . " Alright I got lots of sushi ! Let's go eat ! " Amaya told . Everybody then started going their way into the kitchen . I slowly rose from the couch and walked into the kitchen slowly .

I sat down at the far end of the table away from everybody else . Everybody else sat down at the table in a group . " Come on Asuka . Come down here and eat with us . " Shiro said . " I'd rather prefer not to... " I sighed . " What's wrong ? " Shiro asked . I heard Saori tell the two guys what had happened . They frowned for a bit and they shrugged it off . Just like Amaya and Saori did .

I knew that I wanted attention desperately . I wanted comfort . I just needed somebody to hug longer . I wish I could've hugged my mom . But since nobody had seemed to care so much . I didn't want to be near them if they were going to make me feel better about what had happened . I just needed somebody to really comfort me .

Amaya handed the food out and handed some to me . I placed it on the table and started eating it . I really wish I hadn't come here .

The group of 4 were laughing and smiling . Of course I wasn't doing either of those things . I just sat there . Staring down at the table while eating my food .

After 15 minutes later we all finished our food . We all walked out of the kitchen and sat on the couch . I sat on the far end of the couch away from everybody . Just like how I was at the kitchen table . We watched some TV . I didn't really pay attention because the show that they had on was boring to me .

A few minutes later Akio whispered in Amaya's ear and she nodded . He took her hand and dragged her out of the living room . Akio dragged Amaya into her room . I heard Amaya giggling and I heard a click . The sound of a door being locked . I looked at Saori and she looked back at me .

" You can probably take a guess on what's going on it there... " Saori mumbled . " Yeah... " I sighed . We stared at each other for a few seconds until Shiro broke the silence . " So you wanna watch a movie with us Asuka ? " Shiro asked as he slid closer to Saori . I got up . " No thanks... Thanks for asking though... " I responded back quietly .

I started walking towards the stairs . " Where are you going ? " Saori asked as she ran towards me . " I'm going upstairs... " I mumbled . " Are you sure ? " She asked with a upset look on her face . " Yes... " I responded back . " Are you really sure ? " She questioned again . " Yes Saori... " I responded back a little loudly . " Are you really sure ? I feel ba... " She asked before I interrupted her . " SAORI I AM REALLY SURE OKAY !!!!! STOP ASKING ME THE SAME QUESTION FOR THE 5 MILLIONTH TIME ALREADY !!!!! " I screamed .

I started running up the stairs . " Wait ! Asuka... " Saori sighed . I stomped through the hallway and into the guest bedroom . I slammed the door behind me and sat up against the door .
