A New Beginning

Chapter 26 : Telling What Happened

I while I drove to Amaya's house I was feeling quite nervous . I guess I just didn't want to really tell Amaya and Saori what happened because they would probably think I was crazy . I hoped that they would believe what I was going to tell them .

After a few minutes , I drove up to Amaya's house . I had gotten her address earlier today . Just by the looks of the outside of her house , it looked pretty spacey in there . I stopped the car and got out . I shut the door behind me . I walked to the back of the car and opened it up . I grabbed all my stuff and closed the back of the car with my elbow .

I then started walking up the driveway to Amaya's front door . When I got to the door I rang the door bell , I heard footsteps from inside . They were loud and coming towards the door . I saw the door swing open and I saw Amaya standing there . She looked at my face and she looked shocked . My face must've still been all red and puffy from crying . I then saw Saori run up to the door . She made the same face Amaya had when she looked at me .

" Come in ! " Amaya said . Amaya opened the door to let me in . I stomped inside and sat on the couch I found in the living room . I then started crying . I couldn't help myself . I just couldn't believe what was happening .

Saori and Amaya came running over to me . They sat down on the couch next to me and looked up at me . " What's wrong Asuka ? " Saori asked with a little frown on her face . I didn't respond . " Come on you can tell us . " Amaya told . " My...my...my... " I said silently . " Well what ? " Saori asked . " My dad is dead ! " I spat out as tears poured out of my eye sockets . They looked surprised . But in horror . " What ?!?!? How ?!?!? " Amaya shouted with her jaw wide open . " I was watching the news and my dad showed up in the screen . He had crashed through 3 houses . The location was pretty close so I ran there . There were police men blocking the way . They wouldn't let me in . Apparently there were 7 injured and 5 dead . They then took him away . He was pernouced dead . " Oh my god...Asuka...I'm sorry...I'm so sorry... " Saori said as she covered her mouth .

I got up and looked at them . " Do any of you guys have extra room for me ? " I asked . I knew that they wouldn't care . I was their best friends so I knew that they would be okay with me asking if they had any room for me . " Um yeah... " Amaya said . " Can you please show me the way ? " I questioned . " Yes... " Amaya said .

Amaya got up and so did Saori . They both led me upstairs into a guest bedroom . " This is it... " Saori told . " Do you want to discuss more about what happened ? " Amaya said with concern . Amaya and Saori both looked upset . " No...not right now...maybe later... " I told . I then shut the door on them and locked it . " Just tell us when you need anything . " Saori shouted out . " Okay... " I sighed .

heard them leave . They were talking about me . They said that they were worried and upset for me .

I turned around and plopped onto the bed landing on my face . Crying .
