Chapter 38 : Just A Little Insane ?

I woke up at the sight of Amaya and Saori gazing down at me with worried expressions on their face . I was in the guest room in Amaya's home . " What...what happened... " I mumbled . " You passed out . That's what Momotarou told us . " Amaya told . " That's what I thought . " I responded back . " You have a fever so you're going to need lots of rest . " Saori said . I couldn't rest . In both ways . I was uneasy and I had to get my home back . I also needed to set up a time for my father's funeral . " I can't do that . I need to set up a ti-... " I said as I got up . " No ! You need rest ! You need to get better ! " Saori shouted . I had no idea why she was screaming . " No , no , I'll be fine . " I said I started creeping out of the bed . " You need rest ! " Saori said as she pushed me back onto the bed . Amaya grabbed her by the shoulders . " Sorry about that Asuka , she is just really worried about you . So am I . But she's right . You really should get some rest . " Amaya glared down at me as if I was her child . I couldn't get rest . I just couldn't . There was too much stuff I had to get done . " I'm sorry but I really don't have time for rest...I have a lot to get done . " I replied back . Amaya stared at me . By the look in her eyes , I could tell she was pleading me to get some rest . " Please Asuka...please...we've been so worried about you... " She said . " But it's just a fever . It's not like I'm going to die Amaya . " I responded back . " It's not just the fever were worried about...it's you... " Amaya said . I was so confused . I looked at Saori . She looked worried too . " What the hell are you talking about ? " I asked them . " You're not acting like yourself . You're acting different . Are you hiding something Asuka ? " Saori asked . Suddenly I got extremely pissed off . I couldn't control myself . I got out of the bed and stood up staring at the both them . I clenched my fists and I took a deep breath . " WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ?!?!? I'M NOT ANY DIFFERENT !!!!! I AM NOT ACTING DIFFERENT AT ALL !!!!! I AM ACTING JUST LIKE MYSELF !!!!! I'M NOT CRAZY !!!!! I'M NOT GOING INSANE !!!!! EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE !!!!!! NOTHING HAS GONE WRONG !!!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA !!!!! " I screamed and laughed . I walked towards them slowly while saying that . And taking the skin on my face and acting as if I was peeling it off . The two of them slowly backed out of them room . With horrified looks on their faces . When both of them got to the door , they ran out and shut it behind themselves .

I kept on laughing like a physcopath and I couldn't stop . Eventually it stopped and I crawled over to the window in the room . From the room you could see the driveway . Amaya's car was gone . Amaya and Saori drove away . I crawled towards the door and crawled out of the room . I crawled down the stairs still acting insane . I was in the living room just staring at the TV . There was just static . I could see things within the static . I saw the creepy guy . I gasped . I stayed frozen and clenched onto the couch behind me . Then he climbed out of the TV and started reaching towards me . I screamed and started crying . Suddenly a girl opened the front door and ran towards me . I couldn't tell who it was because she was moving so quickly . " AHHHHHHHHHHHWHHHHHHHH !!!!! " I screamed in horror . She tackled me and covered my mouth .
I had my eyes closed because I was so horrified .

Suddenly it was quiet . Then the girl that was covering my mouth said " It's okay...it's all over...you can look now... " I opened my eyes and everything was back to normal . The girl was stroking my head . I started shivering . " Cry...cry it all out... " The girl said . I instantly started crying . But it felt good to get it all out . The girl started wiping the tears off my face . I turned around to see who it was . It was somebody I didn't expect to be here at all . It was Mika .
