Chapter Thirty Four

CRYSTAL's POV

Ugh. Ang sakit ng ulo ko. What happened? Nilibot ko yung paningin ko and what the heck! This is not my room. Tinignan ko yung katawan ko and I'm still wearing naman Jasmine's clothes. Thank God right?

"Hmmm" tinignan ko yung katabi ko and found Jasmine sleeping like a baby. And then it hit me, we were drunk and we talked about stuff. Pero nakalimutan ko lang kung ano yung pinag-usapan namin. But I know it was about the boys. Ralph and Renz.

Humiga ako ulit and tried my best to sleep because masakit kasi talaga yung ulo ko. Hangover hit me very hard. But it looks like ayaw na akong patulugin ng inner-self ko. You've got a date later, Crys. Napangiti ako whenever I thought of Ralph and our date later. Maybe I was too excited. I was desperate of moving on and maybe some distraction would do. I am such a horrible person, I know. But to be honest, Ralph is pretty special to me. Hindi siya best friend lang.

Tumayo ako and went to the kitchen. Nilibot ko yung pangingin ko sa paligid. Nakaka-miss tong condo ni Jazz. I opened the fridge and looked for something to eat. Eggs, hotdog, bacon, there's too many to choose but I don't fancy eating them right now. I want to eat pancakes. But ang sakit parin ng ulo ko! Bakit ba ako nagpaka-lasing kagabi? Magagalit talaga sila Daddy sakin. Hindi ko pa naman dala yung mga bodyguard ko. Nagsimula na akong magluto while humming "Life of the Party" by my hubby, Shawn Mendes.

"Hmmm, are you cooking pancake?" I turned around to look at Jazz who was still half asleep. Nakapikit parin kasi siya at buhaghag pa yung buhok. Typical Jasmine.

"Uhuh. Upo ka muna Jazz. I'm almost done cooking naman" I said and melted the butter. She did as what I told her and when I was done cooking ay umupo narin ako sa tabi niya.

"Ang baho mo" she said and lumayo sa akin while grinning. I rolled my eyes and sniffed her hair.

"Mas mabaho ka. Did you puke?" I asked her and tumawa lang siya. We started eating in silence when she suddenly asked me about Renz and I stopped to stare at the ceiling. Wow. Ang ganda pala ng ceiling no? Ngayon ko palang to napansin. Maganda pala yung black para sa ceiling? Ang dilim naman kasing tignan eh.

"Aish. Hindi ka naman nakikinig eh" sabi niya at pinitik yung braso ko. Tinignan ko siya ng masama at kinindatan niya lang ako.

"But seriously though, He ignores you but you love him. He does nothing yet you fall for him. You miss him even though you know he's never thought about you" sabi niya at tumayo para lumapit sa akin.

"Who said I missed him?" Tanong ko. I never told her that. But she was right though. I do kinda miss him. So much rather.

"It's written all over your face hun" she said and went to the divider para kumuha ng baso. Is it? Was I too obvious?

"Psh. Whatever. And bakit mo to alam? I never told you about what happened between me and Renz" I said to her but she again, rolled her eyes. Ang maldita talaga.

"You told me last night. Ulyanin talaga" she said and umupo na ulit sa tabi ko. I slowly nodded and continued eating.

"Anyway, excited naba kayo sa date niyo ni Ralph? Ayeee~" she said and started tickling me. Napangiti ako. Excited na kasi talaga ako eh. Nag text din kasi si Ralph sa akin kagabi and said na I should wear anything na confortable ako. So I'll wear a crop top nalang and shorts.

"You know what Crystal? For whatever its worth, I think he's good for you. Hinding-hindi ka niya sasaktan eh. He...he loves you" she said and looked away. Napangiti nanaman ako. Maybe giving Ralph a chance wasnt a bad idea. But..

"Are you happy? Okay lang ba sayo na you know--we're kinda dating-- is that okay?" I asked her. I felt like asking her that. She is Ralph's best friend at dapat approve muna siya.
