After 15 minutes of sitting alone, I decide to just walk home. I stand up and throw my drink away in the trash. I turn around and see some guys playing basketball.
I noticed they were boys from my school, I turned around before any of them could notice me. Of course, I was too late.
"Abby?" One of them shouted.
"Damn it," I muttered to myself. I turned around to see Jacob heading towards me. I roll my eyes. "Yeah?"
He's now in front of me, holding something in his hand.
"Are you gonna spill something on me again?" I must have a deadly look on me right now, because Jacob actually backs away.
"Look, I'm really sorry about that-and I'm sorry for laughing." I could tell that he meant that. I shrug.
"How do you know my name? I never told you."
"When the smoothie spilled on you, I think you dropped something. It had your name.." He opens his hand and my bracelet is there. I run up to him and snatch it.
"Oh my god, thank you!" I hug him so tightly, I'm pretty sure I'm breaking his bones. "I thought I lost this, you're a life saver!" I let go of him and put the bracelet back on my arm.
"Wow, that must be an expensive bracelet." Jacob jokes.
"No, it was really cheap." I smile. "But it means the world to me." Jacob smiles and my phone rings.
"Oh, my dad is calling now, I gotta go." I decline the call, and start walking.
"Why'd you decline it?" Jacob points to the phone.
" 'Cause I did." I don't even turn to look at him.
"See you tomorrow!" He yelled behind me.
"Whatever!" I yell even louder.
