I meet with Jacob and we walk to the park. The playground was empty so we sat at the top, near the slide. I looked at him.

The sun shining in his eyes, bringing a glowing effect.

If you look closely, you could see pain. It was so strong, I could feel it.

I grab his hand and hold it. For the first time since I met him, it felt different when I touched him. It felt magical, breathtaking. I could tell he felt the same, I didn't let go.

"What's wrong?" I finally say. His face turns white. He takes a deep breath.

"Well," He pauses for a second. "I'll just show you." He takes his phone and opens up an app. He hands it over to me and I let go of his hand while I scroll through the comments. I cross my eyebrows. There is a lot of hate, people commenting "You suck ass", "Bro just kill yourself", "You little gay shit", and much more. Other comments supporting Jacob. I look up, confused.

"They're just haters, Jacob. Ignore them." I try to sound comforting. He looks at me, tears in his eyes.

"That's where it starts." He wipes his eyes. "Someone sent me something this morning. They know where I live now. They said they want to kill me." Now, this surprised me.

"What?" I unintentionally raise my voice. "Jacob, they can't get to you. They'll have to go through me." I wasn't thinking at the moment and I kissed him. I felt sparks, ones that could burn the whole park. And yes, I know how corny that sounds. I pull away and stare at him.

"Sorry," I whisper. He pulls me into a hug and I rest my head on his shoulder. "You smell really good." I didn't mean to say it, but it came out. "Sorry, again." My face flushes. He laughs.

"It's okay." We pull apart.
