"Hi," Jacob says sheepishly. "What are you doing here?"

I couldn't believe what I was actually seeing. "What am I doing here?" I repeat loudly. "This is my room! What are you doing here?" I shout, not caring if my mom could hear me or not.

"Right." He says awkwardly and I cross my arms across my chest then roll my eyes dramatically.

"Right? That's all you have to say? You flew out here from California just so you can sit here and do nothing?" All my anger that I was hiding inside of me for the past few months finally came out and I just couldn't stop yelling.

"I didn't come here for nothing, I came here to see you!" He stands up and I realize that he's a whole lot taller than before.

"And what makes you think I want to see you?" I snap quickly.

"I dunno, but I did want to talk to you." He sat back down on my bed and patted the spot next to him, telling me to sit there. Instead, I sat in a chair across from him and all he did was sigh.

"What do you want to talk about? Make it quick." I ordered, keeping my guard up. The old Abby would probably have started crying, but I am a new person now. I've matured and am no longer weak. Controlling my feelings can't be that hard.

"Why haven't you been talking to me?"

I gasp and stand up from my chair, immediately. His stupidity frustrated me so much I felt like punching him again. I head over to him and grab the hem of his shirt but stop myself instantly and sit back down. "You've gotta be kidding me right now." I groan.

"I'm serious, why have you been ignoring me?"

I take a deep breath and close my eyes. After I feel calm again, I open my eyes and make direct eye contact with him.

The butterflies that used to appear whenever I looked at him was no longer there. I had no idea how I felt about him now, but I did know that everything between us was just so intense.

"Are you stupid?" I get up from my chair and walk over to grab my laptop. My fingers type away until I've found pictures of Jacob and Penny together. "This. This is why I've been ignoring you."

He looks at the photos and giggles. "Ohh, you're jealous that me and Penny are together now? That's kinda dumb." He keeps on laughing but then stops because I'm not.

"Is this a joke to you? I'm not jealous, get over yourself. I'm upset because you cheated on me!"

"Cheated? You and I both know we've been over the second you left California."

The second those words came out of his mouth, I felt like bawling my eyes out. Pain hit my chest hard.

"You probably thought that, but I didn't. If you thought we were over, why did you call me and tell me that you loved me?" I kept that last part quiet since my mom would definitely be able to hear me if I was loud.

He shrugged and looked away. "I don't know, I didn't want to hurt you?"

I rolled my eyes and slammed my laptop shut. "And look at what's happening now."

"I'm really sorry." He walks over to me and puts his arms around me but I punched them away.

"Don't freaking touch me." I left my room and shut the door. My mom must've left to buy some groceries since she wasn't anywhere to be seen. I just hoped she left before my argument with Jacob started.

My dad was working late today and Kira was at a sleepover, meaning the conversation between Jacob and I will stay between only Jacob and I.

~~~~~
"Jacob said he missed you so much, so we flew over here for Spring break!" Mrs. Sartorius explains excitedly. My parents and I were having dinner with Jacob and his mom, we went to a fancy restaurant--meaning we all dressed fancy--and they served amazing food. But Jacob sat across from me in a nice button up shirt with a tie, and he looked as handsome as ever. And then thoughts of what he did to me kept rushing back and I  keep feeling the need to throw up on him.
He catches me looking and smirks, I roll my eyes and try to focus on the pasta that I was currently enjoying.
"Oh, he said that?" I asked Mrs. Sartorius politely as I take another bite of my food.
"Yep, couldn't stop talking about you. You guys have such a great friendship." She smiles at me dearly, and I felt really bad lying to her about her own son.
"Well, it's a great thing Jacob will be staying with us for the next two days!" My mom says happily while she laughs along with Jacob's mom.
"That's just great." I murmur to myself, but Jacob heard it and looked up. He smiled kindly, but his eyes said trouble.
