Today was a beautiful Sunday morning. Lucas invited me to meet him at this park near my house.

I wore my loose white tank top and my short blue jeans. I used my white Nikes' and headed downstairs.

I packed a sandwich in my bag for later.

I walked to the park. It was only 9 am. I inhaled the fresh Sunday morning air. I jogged for a bit to the park.

After the 5 minute-walk (and jog), I arrived. The park wasn't that big, it had a little pond on the center, a lot of trees and lamposts. There were not many people there. I could only see three little kids playing with their kites, a cute couple walking 5 large dogs, and an old lady feeding dozens of pigeons.

I started walking along the trails and searched the park but I couldn't find Lucas. I sat on a bench near the pond and ate my sandwich.

After waiting on the bench for 15 minutes, I decided to call Lucas. I couldn't wait any longer, and then I saw Lucas walking towards me.

I placed my phone in my bag and stood up to hug Lucas. As Lucas walked closer, I could see that he brought Dakota (his owl) with him. Dakota was flying right above Lucas. I can't believe he wouldn't fly away!

Lucas stood in front of me and Dakota went down and stood on the grass.

"Wow, he's such a well trained owl, Lucas!" I was amazed. The brown owl shook his head. I gasped.

Green sparkly clouds appeared and circled around the owl and within a few seconds..

POOF!

The brown owl turned into an attractive looking guy with wavy strawberry blonde hair and light blue eyes. He smiled and shook my hands.

"Hey?" I greeted. Lucas introduced me to the guy, "Ruby, this is the true form of Dakota Tuplius. He's my best friend. He cast an animal transformation spell so that he could be an owl when he first met you." Andddd I was stroking him the other day...

Dakota greeted me happily, "it's nice to meet you, Ruby. Well, technically we already met at Lucas' house." "Nice to see you too. So you're a sorcerer as well?" I asked. "Yes indeed, I have come from the land of Ephiezora just like Lucas and his mother. Lucas and I have been best friends ever since we were children." Dakota answered.

I asked Dakota, "so you live with Lucas?" Lucas answered, "when we were small, the kingdom of Trixwerys was under attack by the Army of Arvhius. They killed my father and Dakota's family. Dakota's family were my family's closest friends. And so my mother brought Dakota and I to the human world so that the army shall never find us."

"Dakota, Lucas, I'm sorry." I was heartbroken for them. "It's alright. I've still got family, Mrs. Vrixon is like a mother to me and Lucas is my brother." Dakota answered with a smile.

"So....you brought me here to introduce me to the human form Dakota?" I asked Lucas as I raised an eyebrow. "Nope, there is something else important I needed to tell you." He told me with his serious voice.

I was worried, "what is it?" Lucas replied, "when a humam finds out that sorcery and sorcerers exist, the human shall be forced to turn into a sorcerer too." I gasped, "what if I refuse?" "Then the great elders of sorcerers shall....kill you." Dakota mumbled.

I got scared. Lucas replied, "I'm so sorry, Ruby. I didn't want this to happen. I didn't know about this, I read it from one of my sorcery books. You'll need to be a sorceress Ruby." He said. I tried to stay calm, "It's fine! Err being a sorcerer isn't so bad, isn't it?"

Lucas and Dakota looked at each other and turned back to me. "When you ought to turn a human to a sorcerer, we'll need to take you to the elders at Ephiezora. Or else the elders will come and take away your soul." Dakota explained.

I was terrified! "The you need to take me there right away!" I told them. "I can't take you there now. The portal to Ephiezora isn't ready." Lucas said with a sigh. "Where is the portal?" I asked Lucas. "It's the red spark you touched at my house last time."

I panicked, "then when will it be ready!?" "I would say, around three months? Based on the sparkles." Lucas answered. "Don't worry Ruby, you've still got much time before the elders get to you." Lucas told me trying to calm me down.

I took a deep breath and looked down. I kept saying to myself everything's gonna be fine. Lucas read my mind and said, "it will." I smiled and hugged him. Dakota was standing there feeling awkward, "umm guys? I'll just wait in the car okay?" He turned to his owl form and flew away.

I let go of Lucas and he said, "before I take you to Ephiezora, I will need to teach you about my homeland's cultures and ways. Ruby, I need you to come to my house every day after school." I nodded, "okay, but not today. I wanted to watch some Harry Potter movies with you because you haven't seen them." Lucas laughed and he grabbed my hand and we walked together to his car.

We drove to Lucas' house. We arrived there 15 minutes later. We got out of the car and headed to the front door.

Dakota opened the door and I could see Mrs. Vrixon sipping a cup of tea in the living room. She heard me come in and greeted me. This time, her dark, layered raven hair was let to fall on her shoulders and she wore a bright yellow sundress. "Hello, dear. I'm so glad to have you here again. So, you are the one destined to be my son's love." She said with a smile. I smiled back.

Lucas led me to the living room and we sat on the sofa together along with Mrs. Vrixon and Dakota to watch the Harry Potter movies.

TIME FOR MOVIES!!!

"Do you have guys like Voldemort in Ephiezora?" I asked them. "Gosh no! Everyone has a nose in Ephiezora." Answered Mrs. Vrixon. We all laughed so hard.

And then I asked Lucas and Dakota, "were your school just like Hogwarts?" Dakota answered, "actually, it did look like this. Our school was in a castle just like Hogwarts. But we did not use wands or brooms." We laughed again. "And no sorcerer wears glasses." Added Lucas. "Cool."

We had a great time watching the Harry Potter movies. The sorcerers had common things to Harry Potter's world. It was so cool, I couldn't wait to visit Ephiezora and I'm pretty excited to become a sorceress just like my dear, Lucas.

We didn't have time to watch all the Harry Potter movies so we only watched until The Prisoner of Azkaban (the third series)

The sorcerers and sorceress thanked me for introducing them to Harry Potter and I got home. Tomorrow will be the first day of my Ephiezora lessons! I can't hardly wait!
