The sky was painted with hues of orange, yellow and pink as the sun started to set at the edge of the waters.

The lake was as calm as a baby. Relaxing sounds of the small waves and breezes cooled me down.

I was sitting on a bed located inside the cabin of this wooden boat or should I say yacht. My head was leaning on a round window beside the bed overlooking the wide glimmering lake. I watched the beautiful sparkling water with a smile before I sighed.

I stood up from the bed stretching out my arms. The cabin was quite large, had two bunk beds on each side. Deciding that I have got much better things to do on this boat other than sitting around, I walked pass Amy who had fallen asleep on a bed and out the room.

As I stepped out the cabin and to the deck breathing in the fresh evening air, I caught a glimpse of Dakota sitting at the back deck. I smiled walking over to him.

"Hey Dakota! Have you seen-"

But before I could continue, I realized that he was not alone. Beside him was Leah, the two were holding hands looking like the happiest couple.

"Leah, I just wanted you to know that..." Dakota began.

"What is it?"

"I...Leah, you are the first person that I think of every morning and the last person that I think of before I go to sleep." he sighed looking away from Leah.

"No matter how far we have been from each other, different worlds even! I've never forgotten you." She replied lifting his chin up to catch a better look of his face.

The first thing he did was widening his eyes and then pulling out a very wide smile. And just as I thought, he leaned forward giving Leah a passionate kiss.

"*snorts* he's been holding it in for 8 years." A voice suddenly said beside me. I turned to see my knight in shining armour chuckling at our kissing friends.

"Lucas where have you been?" I asked cocking an eyebrow.

He only smirked before grabbing my hand and pulling me backwards.

"What are you doing?!" I shouted as I tried to walk without tripping or stumbling as he dragged me across the boat.

"Taking you somewhere better for just the two of us, better than those idiots." He answered without looking back. He led me up the stairs that I did not know existed on this boat. We dashed across the upper deck before he stopped us at the very front part of the deck that was fenced by glass railings. From here we could see around the wide lake we were sailing on.

"Jesus man, this is breathtaking." I gasped after looking at the killer view as the both of us leaned forward onto the railings.

"Yeah yeah, beautiful and all. . .but it's nothing compared to you." He replied before I laughed.

"So damn cheesy!" I joked shoving him playfully but he dodged my fist.

"Did you seriously have to answer that way? After I try to impress you? Whatever." He chuckled shoving his balled fists into his pockets before turning around and walking away.

"No!" I grasped his sleeve pulling him back towards the railing and he just laughed.

"You know, only one word can describe me when I'm with you."

"And what's that, Vrixon?" I raised an eyebrow putting on my best smirk.

"Intoxicated. Jesus Ruby, you're like a drug, I lose all my control around you." He sighed and then biting his lip.

"Pfft, shut up and kiss me already."

I pulled him closer to me and landing a kiss on his perfect lips. Though it did not last long when he squirmed to back away.
