Chapter 18

As the four of us ate our lunch silently, Lucas and Brandon approached us.

Lucas took a seat beside me and Brandon sat across him next to Maddie.

"Hey guys! Enjoying lunch time?" Brandon asked with a wide smile across his face as he pecked Maddie on the cheek. "We were till you two barged in." Maddie hit him in the arm playfully.

"Hey Lucas." Lucas turned his gaze to me and smiled. He then greeted the rest of us and Jackson seemed to greet him back happily.

Not long after that, Felicity Wilson the most popular girl at school walked by our table and stopped to look at us. We all stared at her with a straight face.

She twirled a strand of her hair with her finger while looking down at Lucas and Brandon. She didn't even bother to look at the rest of us! She gave them a wide smile and winked. Lucas and Brandon gave her an awkward grin.

She walked away and sat with her popular posse, the so called Glitter Girls. I could just barf hearing that name.

"Ugh, she's such a bitch." Maddie groaned as she placed an arm around Brandon's waist.

"Ignore her, she's just trying to mess around with you." Jackson said to us. "Stealing people's boyfriend."

"Her charm will never get to me." Lucas said to me as he kissed my hair. Brandon seems to be flirting with Maddie as well. Jackson and Zoe were just there staring at us, feeling awkward.

The bell rang. We tidied our trays as we hurried back to our classes.

"See you guys later." They waved me goodbye as I went to Math class with Lucas.

Fall break was finally here. Hooray! Lucas and I were in my room that night.

"I'm sleeping here tonight, wether you like it or not." Lucas joked. I scoffed as he gave me a smile.

Lucas took his shirt off and threw it to the floor. He kissed my lips and I opened my mouth so that his tongue could come inside. His lips made its way to my neck as he kissed me tenderly. I moaned softly for I enjoyed his kisses.

I shoved him to the wall and he laughed lightly. I went towards Lucas but he suddenly pinned me to the wall.

"I'm having so much fun right now."

I smiled and Lucas continued to kiss my neck. I could feel a slight shiver running down my spine as he kissed the top of my body.

"Take your shirt off Ruby." Lucas mumbled as he kissed my chest. He ran a hand from my chest to my stomach. I slapped his hand away and grabbed the bottom of my shirt and tried to pull it off my body when I heard footsteps heading towards my room.

"Shit! Lucas, hide!" I said to him quietly. He nodded in surprise and hid inside my closet.

My mother opened the door and poked her head in the room.

"Honey, what are you doing?"

"I err was just calling Maddie." I lied.

"Oh, alright dear. Don't be up so late, you need to get some rest."

"Okay mom. Night night!"

Mom smiled and closed the door. Lucas came out the closet and said, "That was a close one."

I grinned and pulled him onto the bed. He lied on his back and gave me a smirk, "Don't forget to take it off."

I giggled and took my shirt and pants off and lied on my bed beside Lucas.
