"What are we gonna do?" I helplessly cried stepping backwards.

"We roast those devils." Lucas smirked unsheathing his sword as the cave devils flew towards us.

Everyone but Amy and I had their magic spells readied. I unsheathed my bow reaching for an arrow from the quiver at my back. Aiming it for the creatures, I thought my archery skills were pretty good. Although "pretty good" would be an exaggeration.

I hit one of the creeps at its head but it still wasn't enough. There were hundreds of them storming at us!

"Ruby, catch!" Leah yelled throwing a quiver at my way. I caught it surprisingly and scanned it so see that sparks were forming all around the arrows. What looked like lightning danced around circling them and the arrows looked like they could roast you in a second.

"It'll be way effective to kill them." She yelled again while fighting off some cave devils with her spells.

I switched my quiver with the one Leah gave me, reached for one of the 'enchanted' arrows and shot it towards the group of monsters.

The shot created a huge electrifying blast which burnt plenty of the creatures.

A group of them that were struck by the blast came falling downwards from flight but more of them were still coming.

One came flying past the others and hit me hard. The cave devil was just as big as a person but with extra powerful wings, claws, teeth and scale.

The creature clawed my face leaving a huge scratch across my face from above my eye running down until my bottom cheek. I managed to scowl before trying my best to push the thing off of me.

"Ruby!" I heard Lucas' voice shouting my name. He ran towards the creature stabbing it with his sword which was sparking from lightning glowing around it.

After the thing was completely dead, he leaned forward to me brushing the scratch left on my face gently with the tip of his fingers. I grasped his wrist gently moving it away from my face.

"I've got this." I mumbled as a smirk crept across his face. I step away from the wall I was cornered to by the cave devil and moved forward. I striked at the groups of the creatures coming at our way trailing loud noises of clashes, blasts and even explosions. After what felt like eternity trying to kill the assholes, Dakota signaled for us to end the fight.

"Everyone stop! Their number is decreasing, we get out of here while we have the chance and fight them off outside."

We all obeyed his order and scurried to the hole from where we came from. I was up front so I had to run as quick as I can if I didn't want anyone dying because of me. I clumsily climbed up and out the pit, dashing towards the exit of the cave quickening my pace in every step.

The bright sunlight coming from the end of the cave was shining right into my eyes. I dashed out as I felt the comfort of breathing in fresh air and my feet crushing on leaves and twigs.

I bent my knees panting when two cave devils came charging towards me. One grasped my neck leaving painful scratches and the other pulled my legs leaving me to fall hard to the ground. I winced as I tried to get them off of me. I remembered about the shivs.

I reached for one of them from my cloak, pulled it out and try my best to point it towards the beast. It was still grasping my neck leading me to terrible choking. I pulled the shiv higher to the cave devil, using all my might to stab it.
