"Kai honey I have to get going I have to get back to work I'm still on the clock I just came to make sure you guys were okay and now that I see that y'all are I can go, I love you if there's anything you need call me" Ms. Lucas said heading towards the door. Love scoffed and rolled her eyes not returning the gesture. I just shook my head and helped her into the wheel chair the nurse told me where to go and I rolled her up to the third floor to the NICU where we were able to see Ki'Yaire it broke my heart seeing him laying there with all those tubes and bandages all in his nose and chest. Man I'm not one to cry but seeing my babies laying in these fuck ass hospital rooms made me tear up. First it was Love Nicole now it's Love and Ki'Yaire who the fuck will it be next? I heard Love singing Mothers prayer by K. Michelle and smiled.

Kai'Yanne was sitting at the incubator holding his hand crying. I went and sat in the chair next to them and pulled her into me "Shhhh baby girl it's gonna be alright 'lil man is a fighter it's in his blood." I said trying to lighten up the mood. She gave me a weak smile and nodded "Braxton can you please tell me what happened and why my baby is in this hospital bed fighting for his life?" She asked nervously I don't want to be the one to tell her that Lashonda tried the kill them, that's Low's job it's his fault they are in this fucked up predicament in the first place not mine so why should I have to tell her? "Kai I don't think I should be the one to tell you that and that should be the least of your worries now we gotta focus on nursing y'all back to help" I said trying to avoid this shit she looked at me and shook her head and tried to move away from but failed it broke my heart to see the pain in her eyes, why did this have to happen to her? She does so much for everyone never looking for anything in return and she always ends up getting shitted on. She wouldn't talk to me at all and I tried everything.
