Chapter 4:

(Harry's POV)

I thought being the one to leave first would be best for her so it wouldn't he as bad but it still hurt like hell. I decided on going for a drink at the pub around the corner from the apartment just in case I have too much to drink. I walk in, go up to the bar sitting on a bar stool that is far away from everyone else but still easy access to buy another round.

"What can i get for you?" the barman asked getting a glass ready.

"Budwiser if you can" I replied getting my phone out to look at home screen. It was a picture of me and Ellie that Niall took a while back when things were as good as they could be. I got distracted by the bartender putting down the glass in front of me. I took out my wallet taking out and sliding over a £5 note as I put it my wallet back in my back pocket. As I took a sip, I couldn't help but think about Ellie. Remembering back to two weeks ago when I was with Simon, throughout the whole time I was away I was thinking about her but two week ago today was really difficult.

*Flashback*

I twisted the guys neck as I thought about Ellie. God I miss her so much. I turned around, ducked from a moving swing that was trying to hit me but as I did this vampire speed, I pulled him down separating his legs a different direction.

"Come on Harry we haven't got all day" Simon moaned sitting on a step next to the door not even bothering to lift a finger. I ignored him, pushing my hand through the guys chest to pull out his heart. I shouldn't have gone and left her when I did, I'm just so glad Liam is watching over her so I know she'll be safe. Getting out a lighter from my back pocket, I dropped the flames on the pile of bodies before I walked out with Simon.

"You seem distracted today, what's going on?" Simon commented looking around to see if anyone saw us, thankfully though we were in the clear.

"I just need this to be our last job" I said a little fed up and being here, and remembering what I left behind.

"I gave you my word this time, stop fretting" he spoke confidently like he had never broke his word when in fact he had done, multiple times.

"I have no contact with anyone, I know I am allowed to fret" I stated as we turned a corner to a junk yard to get to our destination, I saw in the corner of my eye that Simon had rolled his eyes at what I had said before he replied.

"You mean that Ellie girl" he replied.

"Yeah" I said as we went into a small wooden shack which led to some stairs that went downwards into the ground. We carried on our conversation blindly unaware and not particularly caring what could be ahead of us.

"Then get a phone" He commented as he put the torch app on from his phone.

"I would but I don't know their numbers" I replied

"That's the thing these days, everyone used to know everyone's numbers but now we don't have to." He explained as a vampire came out from the shadows as we managed to reach the bottom of wherever we were. I found the light switch to reveal a warehouse like room with old run down cars covered with cloths to protect them. I pulled a sheet of one of the cars as we walked past in a swift motion. Seeing these classic motors so run down and in need of cleaning up made me look around to see if anyone who did own these timeless cars would appear.

"Look at that beauty" I said gaining Simon's attention.

"It's like the one I had a hundred years ago, give or take" he replied patting the bonnet.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" A man shouted from the distance making himself present to us.

"Show time" Simon whispered.

*Flashback over*

I took a sip from the bottle, more of a gulp actually, trying to get rid of the stupid heartache that was getting me down. Why did I let her go? I didn't want her to go. I should have just stood my ground, but that wouldn't have worked. I had to let her go, it was the fairest thing to do for her. I felt someone's presence next to me as they took a seat next to me. I turned seeing Louis looking lost.

"What's up Louis?" I asked starting up conversation. He turned his head towards mine and huffed.

"It's been a shit couple of days it's been for you since you've been back" he stated putting his hand out to gain the bartenders attention.

"They've not been the finest days no" I replied taking another sip from my bottle as a bartender came towards us.

"What can i get you?" he asked Louis.

"I'll get two whiskeys, a pint of beer and a water" he said. The bartender nodded before going away to prepare his drinks.

"Why so much?" I asked looking confused.

"you and me are going to down the whiskeys like the good old days and then I'm going to drink my beer and the water is for the date I'm trying to get out from" he said turning around to face a table of girls.

"You're on a date?" I asked turning back around.

"Her annoying friends joined us" he said as he rolled his eyes. I laughed at his misery as it kept me distracted. The bartender came with the whiskeys. Louis handed over a £20 note telling him to leave the change as the bartender left the pint and the bottle on the side.

"Actually could you send this water over to that table?" he asked him pointing to his dates table.

"Yeah that's fine" the bartender said taking bottle. Louis slide one of the whiskeys in front of me as he picked his own up.

"A night to forget?" he said as I lifted up mine to down it.
