(Harry's POV)

1 week later...

It was a week later and it was time for the meeting of the vampires, witches and the wolves in order to gain some sort of agreement from what was left of the treaty. As Ellie came in, she came in hand in hand with Jake and his pack of wolves. She looked nervous and when she saw that I was watching her entrance, I was burnt by what I saw on her hand. An engagement ring. She must have seen that I saw it and quickly hid her hand away as if she didn't want it to be noticed.

"Liam." I growled a little too loudly gaining his attention grabbing him to a corner to see what he knew about this new information.

"What's up with you? You are very hot-headed today" Liam said making a joke of my anger.

"Why didn't you tell me about Ellie?" I asked keeping a straight face. 

"It wasn't my place to say. And anyway you wanted her to be protected. This was it's guaranteed." He answered explaining himself as he became defensive to protect his own arse.

"A little heads up would have been nice." I commented pushing my hand through my hair.

"What would I have said? Hey Harry you okay? By the way your ex is going to have a baby with the alpha of the wolves. We should get a drink when you're next free." He said sarcastically, stopping me in my tracks. She's having a what? A baby? I only thought she was engaged, not pregnant.

"Harry ... You did know that didn't you?" He asked worried he has just blown the biggest bomb.

"No. I didn't" I said shocked sitting down on the chair next to me. I looked over at Ellie who was looking into Jake's eye's as they spoke, she looked happier than she had in a while. Maybe that's why, she could have the baby she lost when she was with me.

"Then what did you think I wasn't telling you?" he asked wondering what I knew.

"She's engaged." I commented placing my hands over my mouth. I've actually lost her now. There's no potential future between us. Completely shocked, it was like the room was spinning and the noise was fading. Liam had pulled a chair next to mine and sat next to me shocked by the news himself.

"She's what? This is news" He said sounding surprised. Well at least I wasn't alone in that department. I looked down on the floor remembering the time that she was pregnant with my child. Even though it wasn't expected or actually wanted, the fact that she is now pregnant touched a nerve.

"God sorry. You okay man?" Liam asked trying to comfort me and sympathise but it wasnt working. 

"I need to talk to her." I said looking up, looking straight ahead into the distance. 

"It's not a good time Harry." He responded

"But she needs-" I said before he interrupted me.

"-She's confused at the moment and her head is all over the place. You talking to her and confessing things isn't going to help her right now. The best thing she needs is time to adjust." He said stopping me from doing something irrational. 

"What you need to do is to get through this meeting in one peace." He carried on keeping me thinking right and on the point. The room was filled with people talking and having a laugh but that would quickly change.

"Can you get the leaders and three of their people to the meeting room now?" I asked Liam as I stood up adjusting my suit to make it neat before I walked up the stairs and into the meeting room. As i was going up the stairs, I shouted out to Louis and Niall for them to come into the room also making them follow me to the room.

"You okay? You look a little lost." Niall asked noticing how out of it I was. I was distracted about the new news about Ellie and her new recent events. I entered the room and sat at the head chair of the table as the boys also sat down.

"It's nothing. Liam can explain it to you later" I answered as the room filled in with people, including Ellie and Jake. They came in holding hands but once she laid eyes one me, she immediately let his hand go and sat down. She looked nervous, like this situation was making her feel uncomfortable. 

"Is everyone ready to begin?" Liam said standing in for me taking the lead in the meeting thankfully.

At the end of the meeting, we all agreed and came to a conclusion to stay neutral without any issues or threats. That these outside people who were working against us will be put in there place, ensuring that no one will be put into the harm. Everyone stood up and said their goodbyes, and Ellie stood up as I did and walked towards me. 

"Harry can we talk?" She asked. I nodded and led her into a different room a little more private so we could talk, but a part of me didn't want to hear what she was going to tell me because I knew it would be something I wouldn't want to hear.

"Harry I know you saw the ring." She said, closing the door behind us.

"And you're pregnant" I said leaning on a desk and crossing my arms.

"What? No i'm not" She spoke crossing her arms.

"Well Liam told me you were." I explained.

"No." She stated completely shutting it down.

"Thank god, you had me worried there" I said breathing out relieved.

"But there is something I need to tell you. In order for myself and my people along with Jake and his to find peace, we have found a way to unite our people and make sure we are united. And even though I'm with him, it doesn't change my feelings towards you." She explained but not telling me the full truth.

"What are you saying?" I asked wondering where she was going with this.

"We've decided to ... um ... have a baby with him." She said awkwardly.
