Chapter 20:

(Harry's POV)

I felt a little embarrassed when I awoke the next morning about the events of last night, I got caught up with my emotions and didn't think of the repercussions of my actions. And if Ellie hadn't come in and stopped it, the wolves would have spiralled out of control and as they are a natural predator of the vampires, it wasn't one of my best moments. I looked over at the time and saw it tell me 11:14 am and even though I needed to get up and begin my day, I really didn't want to. I rolled over and tried to get back to sleep not wanting to do anything today. That was until I was disturbed with Louis running through the door making his presence known with a foghorn.

"Louis what the hell?" I yelled looking in his direction. He stopped the foghorn and smiled.

"I've wanted to do that for so long." He said jokingly like a little kid.

"Go away." I muttered turning back over.

"So the news you should be aware of just in case you forgot, you pissed of the witches and the wolves. Well done. And not only that, Liam came back to me with news from Ellie. She needs to talk to you." He explained putting his arms behind his back.

"Tough because I don't want to" I stated sitting up covering myself with the duvet.

"Well tough because she's going to be here in 20 minutes." He said before walking out of my room basically telling me that it wasn't up for discussion. I huffed before I got up to shower, shave and dress myself. I wore some blue skinny jeans, a grey oversized jumper and put on some brown boots. I made my way downstairs to meet here with a minute to spare.

When I saw her, she looked like she was bottling in some emotions she would burst out to me when she gets me in private.

"Ellie. I am surprised to see you after last night." I said gaining her attention.

"Is there a room where we can talk in private?" She asked showing no emotion. I directed us into a room, staying quiet as we entered the room. Once I closed the door behind me, I turned to see her sat on a chair.

"Look I'm sorry about yesterday. It was just a lot of hard hitting news to take in so quickly." I explained hoping she would understand.

"You can't just go around, picking fights with people. What you did last night to Jake, putting him in a situation like that was reckless and out of order" She said giving me a piece of her mind.

"I know. But I don't think you two are right for eachother." I lied. I knew they were perfect together but I didn't want to admit that to her.

"And what? You think we were?" She asked standing up, leaving her backpack on the sofa.

"I loved you" I stated raising my voice.

"Well I did. But not anymore. I've moved on and you need to accept that I'm with Jake now. Because if you don't, you will be just making it harder for yourself, especially for next week" She said raising her voice. Did she just tell me she doesn't love me anymore?

"Why? What's happening next week that going to affect me?" I asked wondering what she was talking about.

"I'm getting married then" She stated shutting me up there and then. That soon? She's getting married next week? She only just met the guy and now she's marrying him. It's too soon. I thought I had more time to win her back or at least get back into her good books, but now she's getting married next week, it changes things. I watched as she took of a necklace with a ring and locket on it, both items I had given to her as a gift because they meant to much and now she was giving it back.

"Here." She commented taking my hand and putting them on the palm of my hand.

"No they're yours" I said pushing my hand closer to hers but she pushed it back towards me again.

"Not anymore" She said closing my hand and letting it go.

"So it that it? You came here to tell me off and say goodbye?" I said not wanting to let her go.

"pretty much yeah" She commented knowing that would annoy me.

"What did I do to make you dislike me so much?" I asked bluntly as she crossed her arms. She was acting as if I should know what I had done. But I didn't.

"I never hated you, what I do hate is what you have become. Did you know you killed an innocent girls parents? The witch who was working for that vampire. One of the reasons she turned to him was because she had no family to turn to. And you started you a fight on someone who you know can take care of me and the witches. So yeah at the moment I do dislike you." She ranted letting it all out, and I could tell she was holding some of it back not telling me the full truth.

"Who were they?" I asked making he huff as she put her hand on her hip and the other on her head.

"The rose witches. Theo and Janet I think." She spoke triggering an idea of the witches. I let it pass knowing that talking about those witches would be another conversation altogether.

"Oh" I muttered.

"Anyway, I should go. Jake's waiting for me in the car" She said looking away, turning around to grab her bag so she could leave. I didn't want her to leave however even though we were arguing, I just wanted to be with her.

"Okay" She said as Niall walked in.

"Harry I've been looking for you, oh sorry I didn't know you were here El" Niall said apologising for interrupting.

"it's okay I was just leaving" She spoke before barging past us rudley.

"Well that must have been an intense conversation." Niall commented looking through some papers.

"It was. Anyway what's up?" I asked changing the subject.
