(Ellie's POV)

When we got back to my apartment, Jake closed the door behind me as I ranted about Harry and his actions. Me and Jake decided as of yesterday that we were going to move in together but we both needed to find a place and trying to find one where it was close to the portal and close to the pack was hard. He was trying to convince me to live with him and his house but at the same time I was trying to convince him to move into my apartment, next to Anna's and next to the portal, so moving to a place half way was our compromise. 

"I can't believe he tried to make you turn. In a room full of vampires. What was he thinking?" I ranted as Jake helped me take my coat off. I did look nice to the meeting, I wore a berry-purple lace bell-sleeved dress with pewter stecy heels and the same colored clutch. My coat was a pewter colored peplum trench coat that went with outfit well. Jake wore a dark grey suit to fit with my outfit too, which I thought was sweet.

"It's alright, I didn't react" He said as I sat on the sofa and took my heels off, he sat on the chair next to me and did the same.

"You were close to your breaking point." I commented.

"Even so, I would have had the upper hand." He replied taking my shoes and his own and putting the by the front door. 

"It's not the point" I said I said standing up. He came towards me, putting his hands on my arms. 

"I know. He was just angry. You told him some pretty big news tonight and i'm not defending him, I am just saying that he's upset" He said. After what Harry did, Jake showed that he was the better man tonight by reacting the way him did and even defending his actions. It was then when I felt the moment, the moment when I realized we had never kissed but it was the moment for it. I leaned in as did he when our lips were about to touch, but as we closed our eyes to embrace the moment, Laura and Liam burst through the door, stopping us and making us both take a step away.

"Oh um. Sorry guys. We should of knocked." Laura said noticing the intensity in the room.

"What's up?" Jake asked. I placed my hand on the back of neck as I felt a sudden ping of guilt when I saw Liam, he was Harry's best mate and I felt bad for putting him in an awkward situation.

"We just wanted to tell you you can get married in a week today. The venue. The elder from your coven agreed to do the ceremony along with a elder witch from another coven. We've planned and booked everything. It's up to you two now if you still want to." Liam explained. I dropped my hand and looked over at Jake.

"I still want to" I spoke up making my opinion known, I looked over at Jake waiting for his response.

"Yeah me too." he said to my relief.

"Great." Laura said.

"Okay. Anything else?" I asked wondering why she couldn't have just called me.

"Nothing I can't say through text." She said catching what I was saying.

"Great." Jake said feeling the awkwardness in the room.

"We're going to go then" Liam said as they left quickly closing the door behind them.

"Okay. So we're getting married next week." I stated.

"Yeah, that was quick" He said taking out his suit jacket.

"Wasn't it? Is that all they've been doing?" I asked making a joke of it. 

"Probably because it's those two." Jake said jokingly as he headed towards the bedroom. Just as I was about to follow him, I heard a noise coming from outside and decided to go to the balcony to check it out. When I saw it was Anna screaming in pain, it looked as if she was seeing something like a vision. 

"Anna!" I called out to gain her attention but as the winds were surrounding her, I knew she couldn't hear me.

"Jake!" I called out running to grab any boots I could quickly put on. Jake came rushing out of the bedroom hearing the urgency in my voice when I saw that he was getting dressed, revealing his abs. I shook my head out of my thoughts and told him about Anna.

"It's Anna. She's outside and something's going on." I explained.

"Go, she needs you. I'll come straight out." He said. I ran out of the apartment and outside to where Anna was. I saw that she was crying in pain as she was having a vision.

"Anna!" I screamed over the wind trying to gain her attention.

"It's Ellie! Can you hear me?" I shouted pushing through the wind. When I reached her and touched her on the shoulder, the wind suddenly died out and she looked up in my direction. I knelt down to her level and hugged her tight to show her I was there as she wept. 

"I'm scared Ellie" She commented as she sobbed, whatever she saw in her vision obviously terrified her.

"What are you scared of?" I asked as she let go of me. Jake had come down at this point.

"Harry. He killed my family." she explained. I pulled her back into a hug as I looked over at Jake who was probably thinking the same thing as me: He need's to learn a lesson.
