(Harry's POV)

I felt my heart crack into a million pieces, not believing what she was telling me.

"You have what?" I asked checking if I heard that right.

"We're going to after the wedding." She carried on. I turned around not wanting to look at her, not wanting to listen anymore to what she was telling me.

"Is this just to protect those witches? Because if it is we can find another way." I said turning around looking at her.

"It's not just that anymore Harry." She commented like she was burning me with a lighter. 

"Look I only wanted to tell you face to face so you didn't hear it elsewhere. So i'll should be going." She carried on before turning to the door. I vampire sped to the door stopping her from leaving.

"What are you doing? Let me go." She said trying to get past me but I was blocking her way out. I vampire sped out of the room myself not wanting to say goodbye. I went back into the party deciding to drink my troubles away at the open bar. A woman without my knowledge approached me as I carried on drinking hard.

"Hey." She flirted. I turned to look at her, she was a beauty, no Ellie but she was up there in hot section.

"Hi" I replied looking back at my drink.

"Drinking alone?" She asked sitting down on a bar stool next to mine trying to chat me up.

"Yep. Why, do you want to join me?" I asked and answered being polite. 

"Why not." She said leaning over the table grabbing a bottle and a glass and making herself a glass. 

"Nice." I commented.

"So what's your name?" she asked starting conversation.

"Harry. Yours?" I asked.

"You're 'the' harry?" She asked surprised. I nodded before downing another drink. I took her bottle and poured myself a vodka straight.

"Wow. Well i'm Megan. Megan Barker" She said before she took a tiny sip of her drink.

"Hi Megan. So which faction do you come from?" I asked checking just in case she was a witch, a wolf wouldn't be too bad, it would defiantly piss Jake and Ellie off which I would enjoy.

"I'm a vampire actually." she said disappointing me. 

"Sorry I've never said hi." I commented being polite.

"It's okay, it seems like you've got issues of your own anyway." She said 

"Is it that obvious?" I asked putting the glass down.

"What's on your mind?" She asked taking an interest in what I had to say, and even though she seemed nice,  I could never be anymore than friends with her, even if her intentions were different.

"My ex is engaged to a dick." I said bluntly.

"Does she know how you feel about it?" She asked as I took another drink. 

"Yep. But she doesn't care." I replied to her question.

"Does he know?" She asked and what was feeling like she was asking 20 questions.

"No" I said.

"Then why don't you make him know? You're Harry Styles. If you can't confront someone then who can? And if he is a dick, make it so your ex can see that too." She said making a point provoking me to act against my morals.

"Your right." I said standing up downing the drink before walking up to Jake and pushing him.

"What the hell man?" He replied shouting back at me.

"You want to marry Ellie?" I asked shouting it.

"Yeah I do actually. What's your problem?" He asked as Liam came towards me.

"Harry, what are you doing?" He asked trying to pull me back but I pushed him away.

"My problem is you. Come on Alpha. Show us your true form." I said provoking him trying to start a fight.

"I'm not going to do that." He said putting his defense up. 

"Why?" I asked making a show of it.

"Harry stop it." Louis stated. 

"No guys, let's see why he really wants to marry Ellie." I said.

"It's because unlike you, I respect her. Enough to not start a fight with an ex boyfriend. And yeah I like her, a lot, so that's why i'm not going to carry this on and walk away before you embarrass yourself any longer." He said putting me in my place. He turned away but I knew I wasn't finished with him so I walked slowly towards him grabbing a bottle from the nearest table and smashed it on his back thinking it would knock him out but it didn't, instead it made the wolves come forward from the crowd as Jake turned around showing his yellow eyes. Before anything begun, a voice stopped Jake and his mingy pack from carrying on.

"Jake." Ellie said appearing as she ran down the stairs. She ran past me and straight to Jake placing her hands on his face looking directly in his eyes. His attention and eye contact was on mine until she spoke again.

"Jake. stop." She whispered gaining his attention. He blinked showing how his eyes had gone back to normal.

"You okay?" She asked and him nodding in response. She immediately turned around on her heels to me.

"What do you think your doing? What you just did wasn't just dangerous it was also incredibly stupid." She shouted telling me off.

"You can't tell me what to do." I said back showing my authority.

"You're drunk" She commented noticing my unsteadiness.

"I don't do drunk" I said laughing at her.

"Your ego and your cockiness is to big to have a normal conversation with you right now." She said hurting me once again. I didn't show it but instead picked up a passer-by's drink from them and downing it as she took Jake's hand  and walked out of the building, the witches and wolves following behind them.
