(Ellie's POV)

"We made contact with her. But she doesn't want our help." John stated as he entered the room. I was in the middle of a spell channelling my whole power to astral project myself into the same room as her but it wasn't working, it was as if I was being blocked or prevented from going anywhere near her.

"How did you manage that?" Laura asked.

"A simple daisy root spell binding the power of ink. I wrote a message and I got this back." He answered showing her a note. I couldn't see it as I was in a world of my own but by her reaction of silence, it was a long response. But before she could answer, I had managed to astral project finally to where this witch was.

"Ellie?" She asked knowing who I was. She sounded surprised to see me here as if she was expecting someone else.

"So you've heard of me. Good." I said standing up gaining my balance. She looked so innocent, deceiving how powerful of a witch she actually was. She had long brunette locks, a floral dress and no shoes. She looked well-kept considering she was being kept here but what stood out was the look she was radiating, she looked anxious.

"You shouldn't be here. You need to go" She said sounding worried closing the door, she was afraid of someone.

"The witches have been looking everywhere for you. We will get you out of here and get you home, don't worry" I said.

"I'm not worried. And I'm not going back there. Its not like I have a home left to go back to." She spoke.

"But they are using you here." I commented as I heard a noise coming from below the room like voices.

"For a greater good. Not only can they let me control my power, they are helping me channel more but they can help you too." She explained sounding completely hypnotised.

"Look Anna. I'm like you. No parents, too much power and feeling very much alone. But we are witches and that means we are a family. I want to protect you. These vampires don't want to, they have to so they can use you, that's the difference. And I won't ever hurt you. Please have faith in that." I stated trying to reason with her.

"You are just like the rest of them. Making promises you can't keep." She said not wanting to believe me.

"I'm nothing like them. Trust me on that" I commented. She looked like she was looking for a reason to trust me but as well as finding an excuse not to.

"How can I trust you?" She asked looking for a reason.

"You can start with trusting my judgements and get yourself out of here." I said. She nodded in response.

"Good, all we need to do is get you through the hallway, you can twist necks with your power right? You don't have the time to he squeamish." I asked. She grinned and clicked her fingers. Then a lot of thumping sounds of bodies in the house were falling flat to the ground.

"Wow. You're good." I commented pleasantly surprised.

"Meet me in the witches portal. I'll try and find you but if I'm not at the entrance, ask for me or Laura." I said before ending my astral projection and returning to my real body. When I awoke, I saw I was in a room with Laura, John, witch Liam and vampire Liam and Jake. Jake had come in when I was starting the chant because we were meant to hang out after but now with the arrival of Liam, even Jake was annoyed by yet another interruption to us hanging out.

"Liam? What are you doing here?" I asked referring to the vampire Liam.

"We need to talk. In private." Liam said looking around at the others. I saw witch Liam and John walk out of the room. Liam looked in Jake's direction as if he was waiting for him to leave. But he let Laura stay? Why?

"He's staying" I commented.

"Ellie." He said like he was asking if Jake could go.

"No Liam. What did you want to talk about?" I asked changing the subject getting on with it not wanting to waste much time as I had to be at the portal. I stood up along with Jake to have a decent conversation.

"Actually we need to talk to you." Laura spoke standing next to Liam.

"What's going on?" I asked now questioning the whole situation entirely.

"It's about your family and the situation." Liam said.

"What? How are my family involved? They're all dead." I stated crossing my arms not wanting to have this conversation.

"You know how you are the last descendent of the royal witch blood line which means you have all your ancestors power." Laura explained. I saw Jake in the corner of my eye listening to my family history.

"I do" I commented.

"Well I bet your parents forgot to tell you why they really didn't want you to be with Harry." She explained further but I interrupted her.

"It's because he was a vampire. I really don't see how this is relevant." I spoke up.

"If you were with a vampire, you would be able to carry on the bloodline as the next descendent has to be of pure witch blood or even blood from someone who isn't a vampire. That's why they were really pushing for you and Tom." She said.

"How is this relevant to the issue at the moment?" I asked.

"Let them talk Ellie, I think they're getting to something" Jake said. I held in the movement of my eyes trying not to roll them.

"If you were to die as the last descendent, all the power would resurrect all the dead witches in your bloodline." Liam said instead of Laura. How did they even know about that? I didn't know about it, it might not even be true.

"That's a lot of angry vampire hating, traditional valued, powerful witches being brought back" Laura spoke straight after Liam as if she was finishing his sentence.

"How do you even know it's true? It could be just an old fable" I commented.

"No it's the same with the wolves. But not with the witchy ju-ju stuff." Jake spoke up. I turned to him confused wondering where he was going with this.

"What?" I asked

"Yeah, that's why I'm going to be the next Alpha. My Uncle is dying and I'm the last ere of the royal wolf bloodline." He explained.

"So you two need to have kids to stop any resurrections from happening?" Liam asked making sense of it himself. My mind was working double time trying to work this out, I need to prevent this from happening as well as Jake.

"Why don't you two have a kid?" Laura asked, saying the question everyone was thinking but didn't want to say out loud. A question I didn't want to here.
