"Any practiced catholic would cross themselves upon entering.
The rooms have a hint of asbestos and maybe just a dash of formaldehyde,
And the habit of decomposing right before your very (lalalala) eyes. Along with the people inside. What a wonderful caricature of intimacy. Inside, what a wonderful caricature of intimacy. Tonight tenants range from: a lawyer and a virgin. Accessorizing with a rosary tucked inside her lingerie.

"I can't believe you," I whispered as I examined Taiga.

Matthew had brought him back to me after he wandered off to his room.

"I'm just tired. I had to use that gun, Rose gave me for you and since it's infused with Latin it drains my demonic energy. I'm in pain because there's an arrowhead in me," he explained slowly.

I bit my lip as I carefully stretched the wound a bit. "Yes, I can see that," I whispered.

"How's Opal?" Matthew asked me gently.

When I had seen Matthew's new appearance it had taken me a moment to get used to him because we usually looked alike.

I let out a small sigh as I glanced at Opal who was lying in a makeshift cat bed that I had made for him. And for a few moments, I was silent because he wasn't moving anymore.

I let out a shaky chuckle as forced a weak smile. "I may have to reconstruct, Opal a bit," I whispered as I forced back tears.

I can fix him! I fixed him before! He isn't broken stuffed animals don't break they just lose their stuffing for a while!

I felt someone pat my head very slowly and gently and I glanced up at Taiga when I did he wiped my tears.

"Stop it, the patient isn't supposed to comfort the doctor," I muttered as I looked down.

"True but friends comfort each other especially when they're souls are connected," he told me softly.

I sniffled as I wiped my tears away. I heard Matthew sigh as he knelt down beside me. "Two faithful hunting dogs and their owner," he muttered then chuckled.

I couldn't help but smile laugh slightly as I looked at Taiga who smiled slightly.

Oh, Corina, demons are nice when leashed but they always want what they can't have, something happy, something beautiful, and something pure.

For a few moments, I froze when I heard Rose's voice I shook my head and turned my attention back to Taiga. "How do I get this out of you?" I asked him

"It doesn't seem to have jagged edges so you can just pull it back out, then sew it up like usual," Matthew informed me.

I opened my mouth to ask him how he would know information like that then decided that I was better off not knowing.

I slowly inserted my fingers into Taiga's wound warm, wet flesh enveloped my fingers and blood spilled over them causing them to become slick. I glanced up at Taiga to see him biting his lip slightly.

I hate this he's in pain!

Eventually, my fingers were able to grasp the arrowhead and I slowly began to pull it out the fact that my fingers were already lubricated more than likely helped.
