I froze as the world dissolved around me. The blue sky shattered to pieces revealing one with a purple hue. The sun seemed to melt as it wilted out of the sky only to be replaced by a crimson moon.

What's happening?

"You know Sister Harlot before we weren't on even footing. Hell, with your walking sentries around I couldn't even touch you. But now, I'll burn you until there's nothing left!"

I looked around trying to figure out where exactly Elize was when a large symbol appeared below my feet.

That doesn't look good!

I leaped back but found no type of grip or footing due to the terrain suddenly being made of sand.

I slipped and threw my arms out grasping at something, anything. A moment later I fell into this odd purple pond. My entire body began to sting and the stinging soon turned to a horrible burning feeling. I covered my mouth with both hands containing my scream.

At that moment I caught sight of my arms. The skin on my arms had begun to slowly sizzle off like bacon fat.

I could hear Elize laugh at me from her spot on the surface. "This isn't like Foxy boxing bitch! You can't beat me!"

Wait she's close!

I reached down and retrieved my gun gritting my teeth against the pain as I did. When I aimed the gun I heard Rose's voice in my head.

Target acquired: level seven Puppet master please execute. The trigger will unlock.

If I could have I would've smirked. Immediately I fired, and for a few moments there was silence, then suddenly the pond of viscous purple fluid I was in just in just disappear.

For a few moments I just knelt there, my knees folded under me as I struggled to stop shivering and shuddering.

I need to move. I can't stay in one place for too long, but shit what was that purple liquid.

I froze as I heard a bush rustle, slowly I lifted my weapon, however, I lowered it when a paw appeared in my peripheral vision.

"Opal...what are you doing here? This isn't a good place you need to leave," I told him.

He shook his head, huffed and offered his currently large paw out to me again.

"Mistress, of course, we can't leave you. This is an arena and fighting is what Puppet Monsters were built for," Taiga told me as approach me.
