You opened your eyes, smiling wider than you ever thought possible. A tear ran down your cheek as you walked toward the floral archway. Sans stood still in front of the arch, nervously smiling at you. You looked around, seeing your parents beaming at you with pride, Frisk and Toriel watching you as you passed by, Papyrus and Mettaton waving from the front row. Monsters and humans you had grown attached to sat around crying and/or smiling.

You found yourself standing next to Sans, saying the vows, making your promises, and everything else. Just as you were about to kiss Sans to tie it together, you felt a breeze blow by and felt the once happy atmosphere shift into one of pure sadness. You heard waterfalls and soft sobs around you. Then you heard his voice.

"I have something to say. (Y/n) was a good friend to me...and I bet she would've been the best wife had it not been for a tragic accident on behave of Undyne and her training and (y/n)'s illness which didn't allow her to be able to regenerate her health. A few weeks before she passed, I made a promise to her that if she died that I'd have her buried here. Now, I'm not usually one to make promises, but when I do, I try to keep them. This was her favorite place to go in the Underground and this is where we had our first kiss and where I managed to confess to her five years ago. If she can hear me now, I just wanted to say thank you, (y/n) for making me happy when I thought I couldn't be, for being my light in the darkness, for everything. You were beautiful, kind, ...generous...a-and....and...." He couldn't go on. He ran off sobbing loudly. You wanted to chase after him, but you couldn't move. You tried calling for him, but you couldn't make a sound. You were merely a spectator at your own funeral. You began to cry silently recalling the words Sans spoke about you. Every word just drove you further into your own sadness.

"(Y/n)! Wake up, please! Why are you crying? What's wrong! Answer me!" You heard Sans tell you, shaking you with tears in his eye sockets.

"W-what? Sans?" You ask.

"Oh thank god you're ok! I was so worried! What happened!?" Sans asked. You had a lot of explaining to do, and you really didn't like it.
