A few minutes later, a red mustang convertible pulled up with some good looking guy driving. Amanda was sitting in the passenger seat. There was another cute jock looking guy seated in the back of the car. They were all laughing and the music was blaring loudly.

"Elisabeth hurry up and get your butt in the car."

Amanda yelled for her sister. The guy driving got out of the car and came over towards Ana. She was taken by surprise when he extended his hand to greet her. Ana thought that she might have seen him once before but didn't know where at.

"Hi, I'm Zach," he said confidently, "I'm Adams little brother. You know my brother Adam right? Plus we met briefly a few weeks ago at church."

Ana shook his hand as she replied.

"Of course I know who Adam is. It's nice to finally meet you Zach."

Ana shyly smiled. She wasn't used to getting any attention from boys, especially cute boys. Ana felt a little uncomfortable because she could tell that Amanda was getting a bit jealous of her.

"I feel like I already know you."

"Really, how?"

"Well our families go way back. Plus my brother Adam told me a little about you." Zach had flirted a little with Ana. He was curious about who this girl was. Ana blushed as he spoke. "Adam talked about me or my family?" She was curious about what Adam telling his brother.

"About you of course. He wasn't exaggerating either." Zach shot Ana a flirtatious smile. She could feel the heat light up her cheeks.

"Zach come on. We have to leave."

Amanda yelled for Zach as she gave Ana an evil glare. As if she were warning her to stay away from her man. Zach looked over at her and blew her off with a disapproving look.

"Well it was nice to formally meet you Ana Gonzalez. I sure hope I'll be seeing more of you this summer."

Zach winked at Ana then turned and walked away to get back in his car. Zach glanced over at Ana one more time and waved goodbye. Amanda looked as if she scolded him for talking to her as they were driving off. Elisabeth turned around and waved her final goodbyes to Ana as they made their way down the long narrow driveway. Just then Adam came walking over towards Ana. He had noticed that his brothers' car was leaving the house.

"I see you met my little brother Zach and his friends."

"Well sort of. I met Elisabeth yesterday at the dance studio. I had no idea you even had a brother."

"Yup, I got two of them. Both are younger than me. I think they're around your age. They both go to the same school you will."

"Well I don't think his girlfriend likes me very much anyways. I hope that she's not going to cause any problems with me at school."

Ana was probing for more information about the two of them.

"Amanda is kind of special. She's not Zach's girlfriend. For right now at least. They have this weird on and off again kind of relationship. Don't mind her. She's just super possessive of my brother Zach. If she can't have him than nobody else can either. I don't even know what he sees in her anyway. I guess it's just because she's popular and so is he. They just naturally just go together."

Ana had her sights set on Adam anyway. She didn't care about his brother or Amanda. She was feeling a bit embarrassed by her sweaty look.

"Well, I better go inside and shower off, without you of course."

She joked and winked at Adam. It had become a standing joke between them. They stood closely staring at one another. Their bodies almost touching.

"I'm really sweaty from dancing outside. I better go inside."

She wanted to talk with him but knew that she looked messy. She struggled with what to say.

"Talk later?"

Ana shyly looked at Adam as she waved bye to him and slipped away into her house. Ana was starting to think that this place was not so bad. It was different for her, but not a bad different. It certainly had more to offer than she initially expected. She was really starting to be interested in Adam and hoped that he felt the same way about her. She even managed to make a new friend in town, Elisabeth. Maybe her grandmother and mom were right all along, different was good too.
